Now and again when someone's asking about someone on Backpage, etc, I might do some research and post any hinkiness I find, mostly to get my post count up and so, should someone check my post history it doesn't seem off. OK, after seeing some pretty favorable reviews recently on Autumn I took the plunge.

I saw a post that questioned the veracity of the review, in that it was too glowing. The skepticism was well founded.

I have pmd some with no reply and others and got good intel from. My status just changed to senior but I'm still pretty new at this. Ask questions continue to review honestly and sort the A holes out in the process. I for one like honesty. I don't have money to blow on something I'm think I'm getn and end up like you did. I've never been one to get involved with the drama on this board, but I decided it was time to chime in. Yes I know I have very few posts. This is my second account on here (I forgot user name and password for my first one) and I didn't post very much on my first one either. I came to this site after E dot com shut down, and the reception that myself and others from that site got from this community was very cold and rude. It was the same then as it is now. Many of the senior members have an elitist attitude and will dismiss any posting by a member that they do not consider to be on their "elite" level. This type of attitude by some (not all) of the more veteran members is the reason that I have chosen not to be a vocal member of this board. The drama, backbiting, and general nastiness that is shown by some of the members on this board is probably keeping a lot of members with valid intel from posting, and it is for sure driving providers away from this board.

I will probably never become a senior member of this board because I really don't feel like providing an honest opinion or intel only to be told to fuck off and get some more post numbers. Yes, I have been told in those exact words when I answered a simple question for someone. A question was asked about a provider's donation and I PM'ed the poster stating what I paid when I saw that provider. And that was the answer I received. That's not the way to encourage people to share their info. Guys, just try to be a little more accepting and inclusive and the intel will only get better. If things keep going like they have been lately, this site will be a ghost town with no providers and will only be a chatroom for the seniors (those with the elitist attitudes) that drove everybody else away.

I know this post is probably better suited to the rants and raves section, but this is where I see the drama about newer posters, so this is where I voiced my opinion. Flame if you must, but my opinion doesn't change.

Thorbane, you are one of the good guys-almost always patient and polite. It would be nice if some of the other seniors would follow your example. If only they would realize attracting more new members is actually a GOOD thing for this board.
