I found 2 devices (main + iphone for pov) is the best middle ground. If you have too many, it becomes distracting trying to keep track of all of them and you forget to actually have some fun. Also too much time is wasted setting them up and then collecting afterwards. The worst case is you forget and leave one behind for the next monger to find. LOL.

You want something sturdy, easy to setup / breakdown, and easy to adjust. Never get a tripod with turnscrews on the main body or individual collapsible legs, they take too long to setup / breakdown.

Also for lighting, get something like a frosted window privacy film to tape around the light. Otherwise, the glare will be too bright and distracting.
