Any profile that lists Massachusetts, Massachusetts as opposed to say Boston, Massachusetts should be a red flag.

But EVERYTHING in an SB's profile should be read with caution. For privacy reasons, people do not always put down the town they live in. From experience:

1. I've met legit SB's from Massachusetts, Massachusetts.

2. I've had at least 2 SB's use a different town than their actual town in their profile. They were great.

3. Many who use Boston as their city are really not from Boston, but that does not mean they aren't legit.

There is no set guideline, so don't throw the babe out with the bathwater.

Hell I put the next town over in my profile. I had one with Massachusetts, Massachusetts and when I asked where she was from she didn't know why it said that and wasn't aware it did.

Thought I would share what has worked and hasn't worked as far as the first message for me. I've been most successful getting a response when I send a first message stating what I'm looking for: discrete, mutually beneficial, let's chat if that is interesting etc. The next most successful has been f they have something in their profile I can tailor into a first message as either a shared interest or a follow up question but I find most don't put enough in their profile to come up with much.

I've abandoned these because of the low response rate: Giving a compliment. A generic hi, how was you week, or something similar. Asking for more details on what they are looking for or their interests.

Favoriting and sending a message seems to bring the best response rate.

Curious to hear approaches that work and don't work for others.

Do any of you use Secret Benefits? Signed up and bought 100 credits, but no luck so far. Was attracted to the one off pricing and there are some great profiles, but not sure this is legit and / or is super hard to get anything real going.

I think the overall consensus here has been the same, as it has been asked about a fair amount. Good to experiment and see how it goes but I feel there may be more bots on SB, if that is such a thing, because many seemed to never reply.

A polite follow up after a day or two works too. Some women don't respond because they are flooded with messages; others are just terrible at communication.

It's been a bad week. Many conversations have dried up due to the women not logging back in.

I just finished a one month trial of seeking. The first few days were really cool, I got a lot of messages and leads (a lot of scams or pic sellers too). The next few weeks were decent but not as busy. Most of my final week was completely dead. I got no messages and couldn't really find anyone. The last day I was getting several messages from many promising leads. It's like they decided to boost my profile in hopes of me staying. Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes, they boost your profile a couple of days before your membership is ending in order to get you to renew. My take is that membership will not pay off until this pandemic is over / under control. I will not be renewing until then anyway.

There are only so many sb's that are on the site which is why I do not think its worth it to pay for a membership each month. I do think that a membership every 3 or 4 months could be worth while depending on how you like the relationship you had established with your SB.

Also fellas, today is a good day to sign up if you're on the fence. They have a special, $75 instead of $90 for one month. Just make sure to take off auto renewal right away, I think they tried charging my card again after a few weeks (lucky for me it was maxed out- haha).

This has never been an issue for me with regard to generating interest.
