So I have been doing this for about 3 years, I have seen many girls. I just joined this site not too long ago. My mother's car gets stolen and two illegal aliens are arrested with it about one year later. After numerous court appearances, they plead guility and are given community service (picking up trash on the highway!).

What is "grand theft auto" (a felony) in most states becomes misdemeanor "criminal trespass to a motor vehicle" in Cook County! Unless the car thief is caught in action, being arrested with a hot car after the fact is merely a misdemeanor to Richie's Democrat appointed flunkies.

Why? Because crime statistics are only collected on felonies. Therefore the politicians and LE desk jockeys can claim "crime" is down.

Why? You don't expect the Democrats to alienate their voting base, do you?

BTW my numerous calls to US Immigrations were useless. They wouldn't even bother to showup in court and arrest the crimininals for deportation.

Thousands of social workers, court employees, and defense and prosecution attorneys owe they paychecks to this insanity. Probably not millions of $ but billions are thrown away.

Even if the cops can prove the guys who were driving the car were the same ones who stole it (a *very* long shot), what happens?

The case goes to trial

You empanel a jury (who get paid, both for their time, meals and any travel costs)

You spend the days/weeks to get the case through the court

In the end, the verdict is going to be pretty much a crap-shoot, whether it'll be innocent or guilty

Then, if they're found guilty, your tax dollars get spent out, month after month, to feed, house and detain them
