So should I even mention what I first thought to be true when I realized it wasn't?

When someone posts a provider does BBFS during a session, whether it's true or not, then it has many consequences. One it drives those that want that service towards her and if she doesn't do it she has to be extra careful with new and some old clients that may want that type of service. It drives current clients that have no interest in that type of behavior away from her. It causes her phone to blow up with all kinds of questions about did she really do it, why don't you do it with me, how much more do you charge for that type of service, etc. So be careful about what you say about your experience. It can hurt the reputation of a good provider and it can hurt your future experiences with providers that don't allow it and now know you do it.

When Mon. Meets pro the agreement is this is just between us. Imagine a pro's response if you set up a laptop to broadcast the session, just for your protection, or brought a friend to watch. Imagine the average Mon. Response of finding someone hiding in the closet.

To me this makes anything learned about a session through these methods inadmissible. You can't use Mon. X's actions against him, because they were seen / heard through a violation of his rights.

Now, if the information is obtained through a post session exchange, it goes back to he said / she said. Even if you get to see the text exchanges, you may not have the full story. If you have the full story through watching video, it goes back to inadmissible.

Perceptions are tricky. If pro B had a warning about Mon. X, then her perception of him is different than if she had been told he was great and a lot of fun. The meanings of his words and actions change. Compliments become creepy, jokes become scary.

When the details are shared, the original perception is amplified. Pro B's prejudices add to your prejudices.

Public vs. Private.

Does it pose a serious risk to the community? Does the pro have a disease? Is she engaging in risky behavior? Is there a potential for robbery or violence? Is it possible Uncle has adopted her? Public.

Did the Mon. Issue a threat? Did he refuse to pay? Does he have a disease? Was his behavior bad enough that the pro felt threatened? Public.

Just about everything else, keep it private.

If there is a bottom line for me it is that providers should not see mongers they have concerns about and should never resort to those tactics.

I don't read this section frequently, but glad I caught these last several exchanges. Eye opening for sure. I'm sure there are some like me who don't play in this space anywhere near the degree others of you do. That said, I appreciate all of your reviews and insights. If you have been around here long enough, most of us are smart enough and / or aware enough to know when something has become personal or we at least understand the general intent of the person posting.

In this hobbby where I have learned that many hobbyists have as little or less integrity than the providers, you can find out a lot when when I monger thinks "no one is looking". Some mongers are true but they are the exception rather than the norm.

1. Four Go-Pros with lamps, laundry basket, alarm clock included. Recording device is separate.

2. Three Digital voice recorders. If I leave the 1,000 hours of current recordings on them then the price is double. Deleting the good stuff is free of charge.

3. One laptop with a 40 gig hard drive. The Logitech HD Webcam is included along with the Corel Video Studio software.

4. Two 30" X 80" two way glass mirrors with closet hangers and rollers. Fits most standard closet designs. The inside of the glass will be cleaned before sale is complete.

I guess I need to find another hobby!
