Luckily, my cash and driver license were in my pocket. I am clean cut and drive a nice car. I was at places that I looked like I belonged in. No problems. Most importantly, don't let the girl stay in the room when you are done if you use your real license.

Another post had good idea about the lost wallet. If it is to see a SB, or someone like that, have them put the room in their name and you pay them the cash. I was with a GR provider when she got a room at Rodeway inn on 28th street and used cash without an issue, so that might be a good option for you.
