Imagine what could happen if an agency or provider gets hacked or, worse yet, gets busted by our least favorite uncle. Careers could literally be ruined, not to mention marriages and families. I can't believe so many mongers are willing to take the risk by providing their PII to agencies or providers.

Agencies asking for paystubs is something new. My employer pays me via direct deposit and I don't get a paystub. I have to log on to the payroll processor's website to check my pay and withholding info. There's no way I'm doing that for an agency. Discretion is key and I'm not willing to part with my PII just to get laid.

Bottom line is that these K agencies are run in a very shrewd, hard-line profit driven manner.
