Is it safe to do employment verification?
May sound like a stupid question, but, I'm tired of getting ripped off. I've paid great money for horrible service. So I think I want to move up, someone like www.tesstayler.com. Great reviews, BUT, I am worried to death to provide my work info, etc to verify. Thoughts / comments / advise?
Thanks.
Verification is not a common practice
Yep. I do. I was curious if it was common practice to do it.
The only times I've ever been asked for verification, I realized the gal (or guy) was trying to get personal info, some will ask right out for your credit card number, social security number, your place of employment, your supervisor's name, your picture, your birthdate, your home address. Doesn't that send a red flag. Of all the legit girls I've met, not one has asked me for that kind of personal info. Some legit girls do screen with date-check, or p411. Good idea for them.
