I don't see any reports on this one, in Grove, legit?
Just a word of caution because I was a dumbass and put too much personal info out there. I booked an escort while on a business trip (not in OC. In another state). Thinking with the wrong head, I booked her using my personal cell phone number and went through with her verification process which involved sending a photo of my drivers license. Later, I posted a review on TER. She saw the review and was pissed. It was even a good review, it just said something to the effect of "the only downside was that she's about 10 years older than her ads claim. " Other than that I gave her glowing marks on service. She texted me all pissed off, demanding I remove the review (I can't. Once it's approved on TER there's not a damn thing you can do). Now she's threatening to post stuff publicly about my business. Shit. She has my DL which has my home address, and with my full name it's easy to find out what business I own.
At the end of the day I'm not too worried. What can she really do?
1. Post stuff about my business? Post what exactly? And where? What's she going to do, go on Yelp and say she's an escort and the owner of this business visited her? That's a violation of TOS and the review will get quickly taken down. Go on my business social media and do the same? I control that and can delete / block.
2. Send me harassing texts? She's already done that. I blocked her. She has already committed attempted blackmail / extortion which is a felony in most states, punishable by multiple years in prison even for a first offense. If she tries to circumvent the block by texting me from a different number I can go after her criminally and civilly. She would be putting herself a huge risk.
3. Somehow get a hold of my wife and rat me out? Possible I guess, but it would take a lot of effort on her part and would be pretty easy for me to deny. There's many different ways someone could potentially get a pic of my drivers license. As a business owner it is something I have had to send out relatively often for financing and such. Phone numbers can be cloned, and frequently are. She has no proof that I saw her and no way to get proof that I saw her. Shit, if she gave details on where and when it allegedly happened, I could probably say that I had to provide I'd to check into the hotel (true statement). The hotel knew my full name, phone number, where I work, what I was there for, and my room number. It could have easily been the guy at the hotel desk swiping my identity to book an escort for himself or a friend. It's at least a plausible allibi.
Anyway, I post this just as a word of caution. Don't be a dumbass like I was and put yourself in a potentially compromising situation.
- Always use a burner number.
- Be extremely cautious about "verification procedures".
- TER apparently doesn't hide your identity. After this happened I went into my profile and there was my full name and email address. I changed it to a bogus name but of course it's too late.

Fuck that shit.
And the only way TER will known and publish your real name and email address is if you used your real MC / Visa to sign up for VIP status.
Here's a screen shot of my info on their payment pop up screen. Yeah good luck with that LOL. Thank you baby Jesus for Vanilla Cards ha ha ha!
I don't see any reports on this one, in Grove, legit?
I messaged her, got back to me quickly with a stock set of images and rates. Seems legit, but too pricey for me for quality of provider. 200 qv, 250 hhr, 300 msog.

That seemed to be sufficient, at that time, that booker. I'm not so worried about TER having my name. The profile is only, as I know it, available to the user after login.
The escort ratting you out to the wife. That is a big problem. Hard to establish plausible deniability. Probably easiest thing, totally deny the entire story. It's just some wacko, maybe Russian scam artist. To enhance believability, only admit, you got some email, looked like spam or a scam and you deleted it. You never thought of mentioning it, since so many email scams are constantly going. As far as how they got your DL, must have happened in some data leak, must be out on the Dark Web.

She's made threats, and by doing so she has already committed attempted blackmail which is a felony both in CA and in the state she's in. It's actually more serious in her state, with first offenders being punishable by 3 years and 9 months in state prison. Any time she publicly posts anything she raises her exposure. I could subpoena records of wherever she posted and get her IP address. It wouldn't be difficult, and she's probably smart enough to realize that. I think she's just trying to fuck with me / get in my head, and my hope is by ignoring her she just goes away. If I respond in any way she knows she's in my head and she'll keep going. She has absolutely nothing to gain by going public, and a lot to lose.
Her trying to rat me out to the wife is pretty unlikely I think. Her phone number isn't published anywhere and her social media profiles are locked down. The only way she could really do it would be if she sent a letter to my home address and my wife happened to get to the mailbox before I did, and then I'd have a piece of mail with her fingerprints on it. Again, raising her exposure, and she has nothing to gain by doing that. And if she does, as you say I just deny the whole thing. It's some wacko, or some disgruntled customer trying to extract something from me (and she knows I get my fair share of those).
All she has to gain is getting in my head and trying to control / exert influence over me. If I don't cave to that, there is no benefit to her making good on her threats.
What I want to know is how she knew it was me who posted the review on TER. That part is suspicious.

One of the reasons I never see anyone that asks for crap like that or a deposit. Nothing I can do can be traced.

You might want to have a lawyer send her a letter as a warning before she does anything stupid such as contacting your family.

Hey guys,
I just moved socal and I live in San Diego county but my work is in OC. Is there any local Asian circuit of escorts in San Clemente? Or any escorts at all? Most I've seen are further north which is a little too far. It would be nice to make a quick visit on lunch or my way back from work.
Yup, FUCK THAT. More and more are asking for FaceTime or Duo "verification". Hell no.
Can anyone confirm this is a fake.

I saw her a few years ago. I loved her attitude but her prices were way too high. I would see her again if her prices weren't crazy.

I do occasionally pay for minutes using a debt card tied to me, so suppose LE could connect me, but if it gets that far, then I'm already totally screwed.
I'd only give a provider cash. Using an app, just seems problematic, for me.
