Some Integrity Scenarios to Ponder
Provider A and B are friends. Provider A sees Monger X and tells provider B she was concerned but not to the point to warn Provider B of Monger X. Provider B is contacted by Monger X and sets up an appointment. However she has some concerns so she has a Monger friend come over and hide in the closet during the session to ensure her safety during the session. What if Provider B hid a tape recorder in the room to tape her session for either safety reasons or so her SO can hear all the dirty details? What if Provider A had a hidden Go-Pro or left her laptop running on Skype or on record? What if texts are exchanged after a session has ended clarifying any conversations during the session? Based on these scenarios if a review is posted and some things are said in the review that don't coincide with what the monger friend heard, what is on tape, on Skype, video taped or texted is it a YMMV situation?
Some providers don't wish to show their presence on the board for many reasons. So if the above situation occurs and someone has information that is factual is it "White Knighting" to clarify the experience? Is this just true if posted on open forums and not through PM's?
If you see something you think is true at first and realize it's not true then why say anything at all. Example: I was with a provider and headed towards some tasty DATY. I noticed bumps around the ladies dining area. At first I thought, Herpes! However after closer inspection I noticed it was just razor burn. So should I even mention what I first thought to be true when I realized it wasn't?
When someone posts a provider does BBFS during a session, whether it's true or not, then it has many consequences. One it drives those that want that service towards her and if she doesn't do it she has to be extra careful with new and some old clients that may want that type of service. It drives current clients that have no interest in that type of behavior away from her. It causes her phone to blow up with all kinds of questions about did she really do it, why don't you do it with me, how much more do you charge for that type of service, etc. So be careful about what you say about your experience. It can hurt the reputation of a good provider and it can hurt your future experiences with providers that don't allow it and now know you do it.
All the things above are worth pondering. Integrity in a business that society views with distaste is important.
