In chatting with my regular, they aren't very busy lately, but calling ahead is always wise. I call the day before because I am booking a specific provider, but even calling an hour or two ahead makes sure they aren't busy at the moment.

I think most will find the management & staff at 1021 to work hard for a customer-friendly experience.

You may not always earn a GFE experience, but most staffers are friendly. Often funny and if you invest a bit in conversation with them they will reciprocate. They often have really good therapeutic skills as well & recently Blue showed off her skill set doing my tender calf without pain. All of us have different tendencies and as always. YMMV - but I think the culture of this shop makes it easy to have a fairy personal experience. Cherry, Penny, Blue are not the only examples of staff who work hard for customer rapport.

To me it matters, I like places that care about me rather than looking at me as a transaction.

Per the recent question about popping in unannounced vs calling for an appointment. Like anywhere with a schedule to keep it makes life smoother if customers call ahead.
