I've been there oodles of times and never ever ever had any hassels. I have had a bunch of girls give me their numbers for TO. Only problem there is, dancers don't start coming in until late. Figure that before 11:00 there'll be slim pickens. However, you want to park as close to the front door as possible. It's nice to have the bouncer on the stoop looking after your car. Again, I've been there 100's and 100's of times w / o problems going to and from my car, but if you're not use to the neighborhood, it can be unnerving. If you like white girls, OTB and Silk are all fine, but I don't know how much in-club action you'll get.

They don't do that. The girls don't even go outside through the front. Security wouldn't have let that happen. If the girl did try that, the girl would be fired on the spot.

Does anyone have any reviews or stories from The Vegas Club in Delavan? I use to go there quite a bit and it was great back in the day. However, I have gone maybe 2 x a year now days and its usually pretty lame.

At Rickie's the bouncers / door guy step outside to have a smoke or shoot the shit with their friends. How do I know this? Because I've had to walk past them both on my way in and on my way out. Are they there permanently? Nope, never said they were.

If there is No Parking along State Street in front of Rickie's, then I have parked illegally there every time I've been this year, not 20 years ago. I've never been ticketed, and no one has ever called me on it (like the guys standing on the stoop when I pull up). But thanks for the heads' up! I will definitely be more careful in the future.

There is no parking on State on the south side, right up to the Speed Limit sign in front of the White House by the alley. Then there is parking from there right up to Rickie's dumpster, which is just a step from the door. The city probably doesn't want you parking too close to the corner so as to obstruct visibility for people coming north on 26th. I don't know for sure, but that's my thought. So park to your heart's content as you make your way home, my friend. You can rest easily that you won't get a ticket.

P.S. I just noticed that I never really answered your question! You asked "Why do you say park as close to the front door as possible? I suggested it for three reasons: 1.) It shortens the walk to the door, especially when it's raining; 2.) It reduces (not eliminates, but reduces) the risk of damage to your car in that neighborhood; and 3.) To assure chocolate pussy lovers that the risk is minimal in going to that club! Sorry for having overlooked the fundamental question your post. They've jacked their prices and most of the girls are generally disinterested in hanging out unless you want an immediate lap dance where the DJ will stop the song 2/3 of the way through.

The Vegas club raised lap dance & VIP room prices fairly significantly in April of this year. The girls only get $2 more per lap dance & $10 more per VIP, so most of the money is going to the club.

Since the core customer base has aged out or moved on, the club is having a hard time making money.

They have too much staff, manages & employees that are not necessary.

They are clearly in a desperate money grab & may be out of business soon.

I have 2 different types of cars and they have been broken into when out on the street. Lots of beggers and people creeping around that area. I'm sure the club is safe inside. It's a weird area.

It was pretty dead. Maybe 10-15 customers and maybe eight girls. A few weren't terrible looking, including one who had a schoolgirly pigtail thing going on, but the vibe sucked and I didn't partake in any services.

Silk Silver Spring used to be *the* club in Milwaukee. On a similar Saturday night 10 years ago, the club would be full and there'd be a decent amount of activity in the lapper rooms and VIP areas. But Silk was intent on expanding their brand and has focused more of its attention toward its downtown club and what used to be Art's. As "nice" as the downtown club is, it doesn't feel upscale compared to Chicago clubs. There's a certain trashiness to the dancers. I think the downtown club took a lot of Silver Spring's business away, while I think OTB is where a lot of the better talent is now. If you ask me what the best Silk is in the chain, my answer would be Madison.

Long story short, clubbing in Milwaukee just ain't great. Save your money for elsewhere.
