We're all big boys here and make our own choices. Just as I've made some dumb ones and found myself in bad situations (and continue to roll the dice on my predilections of choice), any advice or comments I give anyone in this forum are based on my own experience, and are put out there to help fellow hobbyists get the most enjoyment and value, and avoid serious problems.
This is a great forum that allows us to help each other find and enjoy the company of willing females. Even with the best of intentions, as Admin has noted, it's easy to pile on after the point has been stated. Because our pursuit doesn't have official approval, we all have to think about our own protocols and firewalls (burner phones, anonymous email, aliases, cash vs credit, safe spots, incall vs outcall, etc). These discussions are best in the abstract, rather than making them personal, which creates conflict and back-and-forth arguments.
We all hope that our posts help others find what they're looking for. Thanks to Admin and A2 for providing this forum, and for pushing us back inside the lines when we color outside of them.

My primary source told me an interesting story and she is usually right on the mark! About a section of city very similar to say Baltimores Brooklyn. She said that she observed a bust where first ALL of the girls were removed and replaced with decoys,(pimps, er ah boyfriends and Hos) ,in a VERY popular meet zone. Then when Johns came the female decoys were GETTING into the Johns cars, and according to her NO outside car deals were made, from the few take downs that she saw, another car would then follow and apprehend. I queried her three times on this, each angle brought an affirmative! ...Isn't that some sought of violation of some rights? I,in the old pre-ho days picked up many a girl via car. If true what gives? Will the next thing be? Anyway as my old platoon sarge used to say "keep your witchy senses sharp"If your gut calls it, do not deny the advice! .Might have to watch what you say in car, and take care of YOUR 6,if you know what I mean.
Proper preparation on this trip included getting a 3 hour room, stop by the gas station for supplies and the hunt was on. Rolled down Pontiac and got a wave from heather. Circled the block and did not see anything else so made the scoop. Passed the cop check and headed back to the room while having a pleasant conversation on the way. Got to the room and was feeling generous so agreed to .6. Kept her shirt on but I figured there was a reason so did not protest (kinda cold). Enjoyed an enthusiastic BBBJ and strapped up. It certainly makes sense as a LE strategy. But girls getting into cars and then having cars followed is a troubling game change if it is true. I'd think that it places an undercover female in greater risk than the piddling charge of prostitution calls for. Either way, caution is paramount these days. All the loops seem to have taken major hits lately. I don't pick up anyone I've not seen walking or hanging with another known SW. Better to miss a scoop than get arrested.

And I'd bet a surprising number of guys arent smart enough to / don't have a smart enough pub def or lawyer to push that issue that they agreed and were going to proceed with service.

Decoys have gotten in cars, maybe not in Baltimore. It depends on the department. They make sure the client agrees to pull into a parking lot right there or very very close. The decoy is live-miked. She either gets in there, or meets him and gets in once he's pulled in and with engine off. They swoop in once acts for money verbalized, and the decoy acts surprised / scared until she is out of the car. Also, this way, the arrest and tow is not on the street and more johns arent scared off. They run it over and over. They also do this on the sidewalk by motel, decoy brings guy into room (with the cops in another room with live video).
Undercovers get into all types of less controlled, more dangerous situations. Decoys are usually either vice (if the still have that as a squad, although most departments have done away with 'vice' units) but usually they are experienced patrol officers working there way up to detective or undercover. It is a much more tightly controlled, safer environment than undercover, and cops wanting that experience will not shy away from it.
