You giving them something is significantly more likely than them giving you anything. So you should be getting tested regularly if you're BBing anyone in any context oral, vag, or anal. They do free HIV testing, and some location are setup to prescribe Prep. No appointment. Took a little over an hour for the testing and form signups. If you don't use your insurance, it is $35 dollars a bottle (30 day supply) for generic Truvada.
There will be a 6 week follow-up appointment to do additional testing to make sure the meds aren't causing adverse side effects. From then on I will be given 3 months supply at a time.
I don't do BB too often, but I figured better safe than sorry.
