Bareback Providers
Question guys, or maybe a reality check for me. I've recently crossed paths with a "UTR" provider (fairly well known in the forums, not really UTR) that says she will do me BB. Am I the only one that is leary of seeing a BB provider or am I out of touch (pun intended). Someone give me a sanity check please.

BB Providers

Talk to you PCP. You don't need to give them specific details about what you do. If they aren't comfortable with providing PrEP then they can refer you to someone who is. 2) Get vaccinated for Hepatitis B if you aren't already. 3) Get HPV vaccine. It won't protect you from all types of genital warts, but it will protect you from the most common ones and the ones that cause cancer. 4) If you are on PrEP, then your doctor will screen you every 3-4 months for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. PrEP won't protect you from gonorrhea, chlamydia, or syphilis, but those are treatable. HIV is also very treatable, but you don't want to get it. 5) There are a lot of people who sell sex for drugs that are HIV positive, and no regulations or infrastructure protecting mongers from them. Stay safe. Have a blast.

If you catch something spicy, it will take the wind out of your mongering sails!
I've had several providers tell me they were down, and I still opt to wrap up. I can pop on their face and have just about the same amount of fun.

Couldn't agree more! Way too risky!

STI experience
I've weighed sharing this for quite some time and finally have decided to speak up. I've been hitting strip clubs in the Akron area periodically since about 2001 or so.
I've never had any issues until last year when I got a BBBJ from a dancer in one of the seedier Akron clubs. I won't name names because this isn't life or death for me and I informed the dancer so she could get treated. But I never thought in a million years I would get a case of syphilis from a strip club BJ, but here we are.
I'm 100% certain of the source since I hadn't been with anyone but one other person for several years leading up to it. Literally my second strip club blow job in my life and I ended up with a nasty itchy spot in the underside of Mr. Happy. Now, I'm in my 40's and have to admit I had no clue syphilis spread through oral sex. The doctor was initially worried it was herpes. Which it wasn't but color me shocked to learn that genital herpes also spreads through oral. I'd thought up until then that oral herpes was what you got in your mouth and lips and genital on your boy and girl parts. But nope, either strain can spread by either method.
In hindsight, I'm thankful it was syphilis that could be cured with two courses of antibiotics, rather than herpes for life or something far worse.
I guess I'm saying, use caution. Consider covered activities when you're dealing with someone who has serviced dozens of hood rats in the last couple months. Syphilis is pretty present in inner city Akron and it can F you up if it goes untreated. Stay safe.
Question I have is has anyone ever caught anything from BBBJ only? I know there's always a risk but would be interested in hearing if anyone has. Stay safe!
I caught syphilis from a stripper in Akron from a BBBJ. She was the first and only dancer who I had been with. So I was shocked to say the least, especially since I'd been monogamous for 8 years prior to that. Gives you a new perspective when you've got an oozing sore on the underside of your dick.

Testing reminder
I'm posting this in here because we apparently frequent the same girls.
Tested positive for Chlamydia. I get tested for everything every few months. Even if it weren't against the rules, I still wouldn't try to speculate on who gave it to me because I have seen a few since my last test.
Only posting this as a reminder to please get tested periodically. I have no symptoms. It's curable, but only if you know about it.

Is this from BBFS? Surely not cover and kiss?
What the doc prescribed for it? Doxy 7 days?
For me, it was azithromycin, just 1 dose of 1000 mg, just got to wait like 7 days.

I know talking with some peeps in LA / SJ they get tested more often. If you dabble in this hobby you need to get checked out. I was lazy and just went into an urgent care after a trip from a SJ and came back clean (knock on wood).
Thanks for posting this. Thankfully its a curable one. I posted about this last month.
Yes. Thankfully it is curable.
Also thankfully, now that Hep-C cure has been found, there are only 3 main ones left that aren't curable. HIV has PrEP, but isn't curable once you get it. And then there are the two Herpes strains, which I consider to be acceptable risks because even though it is possible to get it with no sores, the odds are FAR lower of spreading between breakouts.
But even the curable ones have terrible long term effects if you don't test, find them, and then cure them.
