The story posted even mentions they're shutting down operations to prevent all possible spreading of CV outbreak, not to put anyone in jail. I guess they didn't consider this before, which tells me they're still behind the curve as this would be one of the first industries I'd shutdown if a pandemic broke out. Thanks for sharing the article and it explains what was going on in the OC. Is there any information on any actual arrests or busts? Or did the posts stop before the knock on the door to shut them down? That part of the story isn't quite clear. And yes, the OC is a bit conservative and this is not unexpected!

Yes, you are supposed to have a valid reason to do so, but you can easily select one of the boxes and be on your way. For a 5 dollar fee you can find out a lot about the owner of the vehicle. Once you have that info, you can pay another 5 bucks to another site and have everything from court appearances to where they lived 10 years ago or all family members. There are a ton of sites that offer these services. Hell I just looked up my own license plate and it gave me the full vin, and milage of my car for free LOL. For 3. 99 I could see the title history of my car as well. Information can easily be obtained these days, so playing things safe is never a bad idea.
