"Sugarbabies" / "Arrangements" Amateurs or Not?

It involves opening up your browser's "development tools" window so you can inspect the contents of the page and the data being requested, and should work in either Chrome or Firefox.

Log in to SA and go to your inbox. Right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Inspect Element". The browser's dev tools should either pop up as a separate window, or as part of the main window. Click on the "network" tab in the dev tools. Then, back in the SA inbox screen, click on a conversation.

If you go back to the "network" tab, you should see a list of all the data requests the SA page asked for from the server. One of them should look like "/ inbox? Page=1&limit=25". Click on that one. It'll show a bunch of technical details of some of the message headers.

Now, look for a tab called "Response". If you click on that, you should see a tree with sections like "status", "message", "conversation", and "metadata". Expand "conversation" "messages" "data". You should see some numbered entries, 0 and up. Those represent each of the messages in the conversation, from both of you. (Side note: the "metadata" object has a whole bunch of info that they know about your own account. Some of it is info you entered yourself, like profile info. There's also things like "payments_total", which appears to be how much you've actually ever paid SA, unread message count, whether you're in the EU, and even fields labeled "has_under_age_punishment" and "has_unacknowledged_punishment". Very interesting.)

Each message entry has a field called "body", which is the text that's shown in your inbox. If you've got premium active, it's the actual message text. If not, it's "Upgrade to read".

Here's where they did something silly. They send back the text that should be shown, but *they also send back the original text too*. So, even if the "body" field says "Upgrade to read", the "original_body" field shows the actual no-kidding message that was sent. You can inspect each of the messages that was received, and effectively read the conversation.

It's not a substitute for reading messages in the inbox as usual, but it might be helpful for anyone who gets a message when they don't have premium active and wants to peek at it without having to immediately shell out the cash to read it.

As a programmer, I can tell that there's actually a _ton_ of useful information being returned whenever you view a profile page or inbox page. It would be possible for someone to write a browser extension that either extracted some of that info from a page, or re-requested that data from the server, and did something useful with it (up to and including modifying an inbox to show all the messages without needing premium enabled). Sadly, I don't have time to work on anything like that myself. I've got a lot of other things on my plate.

So what do you guys do fo your summer SB who heads far away for college in the fall? Mine asked me today if was going to still help her by paying her an allowance while she was away. I told her that our arrangement was ppv and couldn't think of anything beneficial for me without her warm body next to mine. She offered Skype, vids, pics or phone sex. I told her I was way too old to be beating my meat while looking at her on a computer screen. That pissed her off and she said we can talk more later.

I just assumed we would get together over fall break and Christmas. I am not paying her an allowance while she is screwing college boys.

SB wanted me to keep giving her $ over the summer while classes were out and she went to California for three months. I politely declined, and asked her if she had a local friend who might want to be my SB.

Keep in mind that, even though her request is absurd, it makes perfect sense to her. She's young and inexperienced, and doesn't understand that no P = no $.

I would cut her off, but also end it on a polite note.

There is a good chance she will come knocking again if you handle it that way and she comes back to town.

1. Holy cow! I'm getting lots of looks, likes, and messages from faraway girls. Australia, France, Ireland, Africa. I suppose they would try to sell me pictures if I responded (I haven't). If not selling something, I don't know what's in it for them to contact guys they'll never meet.

2. I live in a small town about an hour from Richmond. Quite a few listings from here, but most haven't logged in recently. If I widen the search to 10 or 25 miles it turns up an unbelievable large number from Virginia, Virginia. I don't know how SA determined distance if they don't list their town.

3. Contacted 2 women and met with 1. Turns out they are sisters who live together. They don't mind if I see them both, but not together.

4. Mostly college girls. Don't hate on me, but I actually prefer women in their 30's and 40's, and there aren't so many of them near me.

I'll see who I can contact before my paid membership expires.

2. Some SBs lie about their location to avoid friends or family from finding them on the site. "Virginia, Virginia" is one of many location oddities you'll find on the site. The site's address database is a mess. For a while, there was a SB who had "WalMart, NC" as her location.

3. You'll find that many SBs know each other and network with each other. If you tell one SB something, assume you're telling it to all SBs.

4. I agree about the 30-40 SBs. When a new one of that age comes to the site, you have to move fast to lock it down. They tend to be more crazy than the students, but also more fun.

All of those comeons go away. I never get them. I do that b / c I have a SO, among other reasons. If I go to a girls page, she can see I have been there and reply, but otherwise she doesn't know I exist. How many of you have been contacted by a SB initially and had it turn into an arrangement? If you have a profile that does that for you, more power to you. If not, do it my way and save yourself some grief.

I had that happen. My all time favorite emailed me first and we went from there. So yes, it does happen.

I agree. I always hide my profile from search. I have a specific type I look for and many of the women that would even contact me just aren't my type. I've had a profile for a while, so the scammers would avoid me anyway just because of how old my profile is. They target newbies. It's not that hard just do a quick search and favorite every profile I'm interested within a 50 to 100 mile radius. I then work my way back through my favorites to send them messages. Often I will get messaged by someone I had favorited before I had the chance to message them. I've never seen it as a limiting factor.

When I have had my profile not hidden from search, I get messages from some of the ugliest women on the planet or women outside the US. No thanks.
