I cruised around the East Side for three nights, with no luck.
I think they all went on Spring Break. I might venture to the STL tonight pending my work schedule. Although I like to stay fairly close to home.
This is my first post. A lurker I am no more.

Ok, so last night I found myself downtown so decided to check out the Broadway & Bates neighborhood. Cruised up and down Broadway a couple of times, several miles in each direction to help from looking to obvious. Saw one BSW who didn't have a bad looking face but was thin as a rail, positively Ethiopian. Also had really wild hair. She established eye contact but I declined. Didn't see anybody else.
When I get my next chance I'll introduce myself to Grand and Bates.
I don't think so She was cute and young. Said she had a new phone and gave me the digits but I can't freakin believe I lost them. Idiot!

I'm a "lapsed SW hobbyist" looking to restart my old activities, the difference being I have no car. I live in the South Side area near active areas Grand and Broadway and see SWs on my bus commute pretty regularly. Seeing as how I don't have a vehicle NOR a place I can take them to (don't live alone, if y'know what I mean), I need advice as to how to proceed.

This would be very efficient, since you are already on your way to / from work. Be sure to blow your load BEFORE you get to your normal stop.
(BTW, also be a good guy & pay her fare)

I'll take a risk at getting trolled and take a swing on this one since I've had too much experience mongering on foot. The northside neighbor hood I grew up in was rife with SW who'd didn't care if you were on a tricycle or flexing a BMW, and I've even had decent luck mongering on foot on the southside, believe it or not.
To approach this method seriously, we'll have to weigh out the pros and cons.
PRO:
-There is no mirage effect. Seeing the SW close up, she'll never magically transform from an 8 to a. 08 once she gets in your ride. Also, if she stinks like a donkey, you'll know before that funk jumps in your ride.
-If you're busted somehow, you won't catch a wrap for the drugs / guns / knives / bombs she's carrying on her.
-Obviously, you can't get car-jacked. But seriously, if the chick is up to something sheisty, and you're outside, you can always run. There's no getting blocked in, and to steal your wallet, she'd have to fight you.
-No nosy neighbors glaring as you park. It's much easier to just slip out of view instead of finding that perfect spot.
-Cops might mistake as more of a bum than a monger, and won't be so quick to harass you, maybe, though I have been pulled over for walking once. Yes. Walking. They thought I was a dope boy or something.
-A crazy * cannot pull a * move and throw your car out of drive into park.
-It should be easier to spot a sting, and I'd imagine Aunt Leo would be less likely to approach a dude on foot.
-Lastly, if you do get caught red handed, your balls on her chin, money in her hand, at least you won't be paying all that money to get your car out of impound.
CONS:
-as said before, SW could be leery of you, especially if you're a black dude. The skittish ones will just ignore you and not make eye contact, so 'eff 'them.
-You have no get away vehicle. If the block is hot, there's no moving to a less LEO / gang-banger infested neck of the woods, or getting away from her boyfriend.
-DO NOT go to the SW's spot. You're way more at risk of being lured to a friend's house for a robbery. I've broken this rule a few times before, and although 90% of the time was okay, I had a close call once. Not worth it, unless you have good word she's trustworhty (as trusty as these girls can get).
-The going's much, much slower, and if you walk long enough, you're surely catch a bad case of swamp-ass in this coming heat.
Methods:
Casually ask as you pass by,"You working?" or "Got a smoke?" or offer them a cigarette.
That's pretty much all I can think of. I'd say it's certainly doable, but like anything else, has it's particularly challenges.
On another note, since you're new-ish to the area, lets set some expectations. There's certainly a SW scene here, but the quality is low to meh to alright.
Browsing boards in other states will make you somewhat envious. There aren't too many 19-20-something yr. Old runaways here looking to party like in some of the warmer states or healthy, attractive enough thirty-something divorcee's who are just down on their luck and looking to feed their kids. Here, they basically fall into two categories:
1. Early Twenty's spinner who is a a 7-9 on the non-SW scale, but is most definitely addicted to heroin and is either unskilled, moody, a rusher, or all three. Examples are Val, Melinda, N. O. Ashley, chick with the guns tattooed on her hips, sort-of-chunky, used to be sweet brunette who lived on Bates, and the list goes on and on. You'll be tempted to FS, but that is definitely ill-advised. A CBJ, lack luster may it be, wold be worth the price of admission, as at least the view is nice and you won't have to worry about her acidic, steel corroding bodily fluids.
2. Late thirties-early fifties worn out, used up, beat down, fat, ugly, or just plain old ex-druggie SW who is a 5 or lower on the SW scale but will suck your scrotum raw and not quit until you tap out. Again, only really worth a CBJ, because' you're nuts if you really want to see that naked.
Of course you may stumble upon the rare gem every so many thousand years.
For some reason, a lot of girls think they deserve thirty for their services. Tell them you only have twenty candy-bars and suggest they get a real gig.

On the way home, I did a quick loop through sbw and sg to see if I could commit a quick sin. Down sbw, I saw a few of the usual suspects, nothing worth stopping for, but I had hope since girls were out. Moving on to sg, I spotted a brunette with her hair up, red lip-stick, wearing a pick hoodie, funky heels, and short-shorts. Soooo, I circled around, made eye contact, and respectfully settled in a parking lot near Ted Drewes and waited for her to come round. Another monger recklessly cruised down the street, hollered at her out his window, pulled a you-turn, and swooped her up. I mean, see'mon. If this girl sounds familiar, let me know how she was.
About an hour and a half later, I was curious, and took the scenic route on an errand (I know, but two laps in 2. 5 hours probably is aggreious). And damn! There was a girl on every corner. Of the ten I saw out, only three-four were doable, but dang, it's nice to have any kind of selection after the slow winter months.
I saw a chick with a long, braided pony-tail and funky glasses that looked worth the trouble. If any one has digits, please hit me up. The next couple of days may be good to make new acquaintances until Leo calls in an air raid.

I haven't been mongering much the last few months since winter is the slow time for my business. I had a great hook up with tall Jessica back in Feb and I thought I'd see what Val is all about. Another thing, while she has always been "rough face, great body" especially considering her age, she's lost even more teeth and she looks nasty from the front. Doggy style is the only activity I would recommend w / her.

However Florissant is closer and more near the airport so it is much easier for the LE.
That sucks. I have been with Sara on several occasions and also have never had an issue with her. She has always been a very good provider. Hopefully she isn't another "Good Ho Gone Bad". Stay safe out there.

Take a stroll around the area, and drive a few of the side streets.
Hit Grand, Bates the SBW. Getting ready to call it a day and head home I spot Tasha. NO muss no fuss CBJ. Said that girls were out but nobody is stopping.
