Going into a spa not illegal
Sure isn't.
I speak from experience here as having been caught like a deer in the headlights several years ago during a bust / raid at Sun Spa in DC. We always think about the "What if?" situations; hell, I've even joked about it with friends, but when it actually happens, it's surreal.
The important thing to remember is, when in the room make sure the door is locked. If a bust occurs, your natural instinct is to get your clothes on. This is wrong. You have every reason to be naked LEGALLY, as you're getting the massage; your provider however does not. If you hear a commotion outside help her get her clothes on.
I was busted right in the shower, but the fact that my provider was still clothed, even though I wasn't, is the only reason neither of us went to jail. Can't say the same for some of the other girls and guys in there that night.
Just some food for thought.
Yeah, it seems it would be very difficult for a customer to really get into trouble unless he panics. I go to a legitimate, State-wide, chain massage parlor for my bad back, and I'm naked in there--being naked in an establishment is no big deal. So unless the cop bursts in while you're in the middle of a sex act in an AMP, I can't see how it would be more than an inconvenience for the customer. And, come to think of it, can I help it if the masseuse got too warm and decided to shed some of her clothing? I mean, I was face down on the table and couldn't see what she was doing. I guess a cop could push it if you put on an attitude with him or her, but it seems unlikely there could be any real negative consequences like actually being convicted of anything--unless you were married and your spouse found out; that might create a negative consequence or two.
Now hotel sting setups are another issue altogether.
When I was in a similar situation

He said it in like five different ways. He also tried to say that if I did not cooperate they could say that I entered a bawdy place. I asked wasn't they licensed to operate in the state (va)? After a few minutes he let me go.
