Two troubled strip clubs in Bridgeport have been given the green light to reopen.
Teddies on East Main Street and the Keystone Cafe on Barnum Avenue were forced to close after a string of arrests were made for prostitution and drugs. But now the Chief State Attorney's office has given both establishments a second chance provided they do away with lap dances and take down partitions that made it easy to hide illegal activity.
Not everyone is happy with the news. One resident who works at a hardware store across the street from one of the clubs says on his way to work he would have to step over beer bottles and used condoms.
If the clubs get into trouble again, officials say the owners' licences will be revoked.
