Is the phone number from within the state or out of state?
How often does the provider advertise in this area? If they are from out of state, can you find older ads that show they've visited the area before?

Also, check the spelling and grammar. If the ad has more than a few common errors or don't sound plausibly like the person is from the 'hood, it is most likely a scam.

Cass: Attempted to see her a couple of months ago. She seemed to be what I wanted at the moment, even wishing for three bills an hour, so I was going to take a chance.
