First echo all the other comments, the idea that there is a relationship between experience and price is simply wrong, if anything it's inverse, at least for the types you should be seeking if you're in the bowl. Some of the worst GPS out there is with what I consider undesirables like pros and older gals and even some ugly chicks. Some of the least demanding are the prettiest and hottest.

Second, these days most (not all) of the SB's have read blogs and articles even if they are just starting out. Even the ones that aren't that pretty know to start at 500 even as most don't actually expect it, but they know some such as those less experienced will say yes so there's no downside to them. If I get asked for that 10 times and respond with something like "I won't go over 3," I will get 8 or 9 yes's, including the hotties.

Now, the major caveat to that is it is almost always with girls I've met already, that know they feel comfortable with me and that I'm respectful and normal and not repulsive and they value that almost as much as the money. Negotiating price prior to that is how you end up with those that have a price in mind and don't care who they do it with if that's met, which is not what I'm seeking so I usually try to avoid doing that. But it's no different than a job, if someone has two offers and one pays more but they know you'll hate it while the other one seems more pleasant / enjoyable / less stressful, most people don't automatically take the higher paying gig. Money's a factor, probably even the most important, but it's not the only factor. As an example, a girl I see regularly where we are honest each with other about our other situations sees one other guy and he gives her nearly 3 times what I give her. He doesn't know about me but has still tried to re-negotiate with her many times but she won't take less from him, she doesn't like him and dreads seeing him so will only do it for something extraordinary she can't pass up. But still I can 100% guarantee you he is not getting a better experience or having more fun with her than I am despite paying a ton more.

The other caveat is that there is some variation in allowance norms by city naturally but it's not necessarily just size, I've had great success at the same price point in NYC and other large cities. But there are cities (Atlanta is one I understand) where the expectations for whatever reason are just higher among girls on SA. If you're in one of those 400 might be reasonable, but it's simply not true for the vast majority of cities.

I won't go over two, so most of those I just pass on. Right now I have 4 hot girls I'm scheduled to meet this week that I haven't talked allowance with at all. Two of them are driving 20-30 minutes to meet me a few blocks from my house. When we meet, they see I'm not repulsive, I'm polite, I estimate there is at least an 80% chance I will get them in my bed in an hour or two for 200 or less. The third I am picking up because her car is in the shop, if anything that is even a higher percentage. The forth canceled on me once, but I am giving her another chance because she might be the hottest. If you put in the time, avoid the money discussion till you're face to face, and treat them right there is no reason to spend 400. Was trying to read some messages on SA with an expired membership, and noticed, the original body isn't there anymore to read. Has SA caught on?

You should see some numbered entries, 0 and up. Those represent each of the messages in the conversation, from both of you. (Side note: the "metadata" object has a whole bunch of info that they know about your own account. Some of it is info you entered yourself, like profile info. There's also things like "payments_total", which appears to be how much you've actually ever paid SA, unread message count, whether you're in the EU, and even fields labeled "has_under_age_punishment" and "has_unacknowledged_punishment". Very interesting.)

Each message entry has a field called "body", which is the text that's shown in your inbox. If you've got premium active, it's the actual message text. If not, it's "Upgrade to read".

Here's where they did something silly. They send back the text that should be shown, but *they also send back the original text too*. So, even if the "body" field says "Upgrade to read", the "original_body" field shows the actual no-kidding message that was sent. You can inspect each of the messages that was received, and effectively read the conversation.

It's not a substitute for reading messages in the inbox as usual, but it might be helpful for anyone who gets a message when they don't have premium active and wants to peek at it without having to immediately shell out the cash to read it.

As a programmer, I can tell that there's actually a _ton_ of useful information being returned whenever you view a profile page or inbox page. It would be possible for someone to write a browser extension that either extracted some of that info from a page, or re-requested that data from the server, and did something useful with it (up to and including modifying an inbox to show all the messages without needing premium enabled). Sadly, I don't have time to work on anything like that myself. I've got a lot of other things on my plate.

So I am in agreement SA is not everyone's cup of tea, and the $90 a month does get old, but if you can't afford it, this is probably not the best site for you. I play the SB game on the road and it has been a great resource for me. I have also become very much a quality over quantity guy now at my age. Since the good sources of reviews on sites like TER shut down, I have moved to SA for good. I have a budget like most here and believe to be successful on SA it does take a lot of time and hard work. I really think there is everything under the sun on the site, pros, nuts, very young girls who are clueless, GPS girls, sluts and everything else. That is why it's so much work!

I have been on and off the site over the past couple years and honestly have not yet meet a lady I wanted to run away from. But again, I am very low volume and work hard to find quality. I have been on and off SA for a few years. Over that time I have had more "swings and misses" than hits. I buy one month membership every 6-8 months. I'm fairly selective in what I"m looking for, so I do not always find a hit in a city. Plus, the nature of my work makes it difficult to work around client, work schedules and discretion at times.
