Decided to give New Valley Day Spa a try for the 'spa experience'.
Asked if there was a table shower, she said 'yes table shower $90'. I gave 90 as was taken to the locker room. Put a robe on and went to take a shower. On the way to the shower I saw the shower tables. After shower I went in the jacuzzi while waiting for Jenny who came and took me to a table. I took off the robe and laid down. She then threw a couple buckets of warm water on me. Felt oddly nice. They she scrubbed my body, and I mean scrubbed. Then came the body scrub lotion, some kind of lotion with pumice. More buckets of water and then soap. Told me to turn over, pulled the wet towel over my junk sumo style. Same as backside with the scrub, lotion, soap. The asked if I wanted my hair washed, sounded nice so I said yes. Then back to the shower and into the sauna. Jenny came to take me to the massage room. As mentioned before the door had a large window, weird. She gave a decent massage with lots of oil for about 1/2 hr. Never got any more than that.
The whole thing lasted 90 min so the price is not bad. The shower table and massage table both had waterproof vinyl covering like old gym equipment. Tipped Jenny $40 for all the effort. Overall, I enjoyed the 'spa experience', the place is clean and as said before, enormous. Just wish there was more at the end. I'll probably go back for the full treatment, maybe the ending will be better but if not, I'll enjoy the experience. If you visit, make sure and grab a pair of the sandals they have available, the floor is really slippery without them.
