There have been a couple of friends I've wanted to spend some time with that don't have a place to hang out with me, so looking for hotel / motels in the indy or greenwood area that are good for a mid day sort of meet up. I've never gotten a room during the day, its always been late evening when traveling and I know most have a checkout / in time right around when I can get free.
Got any tips / suggestions?

Best advice is call ahead a couple hours direct to the hotel ask for an early check-in. Occasionally but not often there is a 10 or $20 fee. I never mention checking out early I just leave.

As for Southside, I would check on Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn at I465 and Emerson. I used to meet up with the old Journey at the latter from time to time.
If you are further west, check on Knights Inn and American Inn at I465 and Harding (SR37).

Got any tips / suggestions?[/QUOTE]Alot of times I check in early. Sometimes, I'll go to a place and check in before work (7 am or so). It all depends on availability. If they have rooms that didn't get used the previous night and don't need cleaned you can check in right away no matter what time.

After lots of air travel fun, although none that caused bleeding, I'm finally settling in to life in Colombia. Due to an unrelated issue, I haven't had any fun yet. That needs to wait.
On Sunday my bank informed me of a fraudulent charge on my card. We quickly blocked the charge and cancelled my card. Now I'm blocked from my bank until a new card arrives. So I'm budgeting tight for a few weeks.
The good news is that my friends here are great. The apartment is nice, in a great area with good views. Speaking of good views, plenty of legs and cleavage are on display.
Almost everything is cheaper here. Lunch yesterday was about $5. 75 including the tip. That was for a large grilled fish filet, a bowl of soup, a small salad, some Spanish rice, a small helping of fries and a drink. The utilities, gas, electricity, water and sewer are less than $30/ month.
Best of all, the weather is almost perfect. 70's to 80's daytime, down to 60 at night. Spotty rain every day, but it's a mix of sun and clouds. Once I finish adjusting I think I'll be good.
