So I've been having terrible luck lately with making a good connection. I try to be upfront and honest with providers as I am not new to this, but things have changed in the last 20 years and I'm more cautious than ever. I'm not jumping into a situation without either a shit ton of reviews or at least someone that can respond with some decent feedback. I think more than anything it's timing. These providers are moody. You can say all the right things and they still go silent. I've had my best luck with new providers when I'm ready to go and call right after they post a new ad. That makes the timing difficult but they usually respond right after they post. Other than that, it's hit or miss as it seems most of them change their minds at the drop of a hat.
