But this isn't just an issue of safety; safety, as vitally important as it is, is an issue which can be addressed before the doors close. If people want to agree to risky behaviors, however defined, it is their business, though I think we all hope that unprotected sex is not among them, and that any hobbyist who suggests it gets a kick in the nads, real or figurative.

This is about the betrayal of trust behind closed doors. That violation is something many hobbyists need to be made to see. It's gratifying that there's been a universal condemnation of the offender which FF was portraying. But the added risk of social disease (not to mention, as here, the possible emotional toll on a lot of people) does not wholly separate this sort of act from all sorts of boorish (or thuggish) behavior, from short envelopes to attempts to get what is clearly refused.

If FF wanted us to talk about this in the larger sense, there it is: people-and they, despite any he said / she said denials, are almost exclusively hobbyists-who walk through this hobby thinking that the only thing which matters is themselves, thinking that they aren't connected to anything or anyone else, aren't responsible for safety; people who think it's only about what they get in a temporary fix, how much the gum cost, or what it tasted like, before they throw the wrapper in the street, well, there are a lot of diseases whose symptoms never show, or never become apparent to the sufferer. And some which some people celebrate.

I posted that in the immediate aftermath of the original FF post. I didn't know that things would go this long, with so many subsequent posts, so many opinions, so much discussion, yet little clarification or explanation. And without hearing from FF himself.

These wonderful angels share their lovely gifts with our fat asses and deserve to be able to trust us. If they say stop or no then it's time to stop period. I'm saying those who know FF know how he posts. Frequently in metaphores and in 3rd person. Those that say they know him because they've read his reports for years only have his written word by which to judge him. So they do and I don't blame them for that.

But those of us who know him on a different level. Bothered to meet, share fun times, talk and travel with him. Have to judge him differently. I think his concern is with the well being of the lovely ladies that many of you hobbyists have grown to love as individuals. Many have developed friendships in this hobby, that go beyond the walls of a bedroom.

It is easy to attack most of the providers as they trust sometimes too much and are an easy target. IMHO, FF took a great risk to bring a serious issue to light. I just got on here after several days, and WHAM! What a firestorm. But for good reason, as several have pointed out.

First that the behavior in the Freak for Freckles' report is completely unacceptable, and not only to the women concerned, but even to the rest of us mongers. Only a true asshole / rapist / bastard would treat any woman that way and a prick like this on the loose will make things sticky / difficult / dangerous for all of us.

Second, and this is only my opinion, FF is speaking not of his own behavior here, but of someone else's. I feel this way, because although I've never met him, his track record for defending women on this board is well proven. Even to the point of being an ass to other mongers at times. The attitude in his story is completely opposite to any and every other post under his name. I just can't see it coming from him in any other way than sarcasm to prove a point, to out another monger (in this case, I feel appropriately) or to simply stir the discussion for what he's seen as a problem. I agree it is a problem and the discussion is worthwhile.

Now for the "Enough of this shit" attitude, I can agree with that also. It's time for FF to speak up, out the monger in question so no more women are referred to the guy and clear up his own name concerning this. But until he does so, and it's only his choice to make, I think the subject is finished. I have been waiting for this to run for a while and to see where it went, let it run it's course. It wasn't my place to jump in as much as I have wanted to because I understand what was happening, and as many good and bad points that the discussion has brought out were really the intended result, though sadly at the expense of someone's personal pain. The parable that started all of this was an allegory, based in fact, with some license taken, like the working girl comment at the end of the post, sarcasm and the antithesis of what FF believes, in order to drive home his point with a hard effect. The story though altered is sadly true, just like a year ago when a local provider was lured to a residential outcall, then outnumbered and abused, tied / held down and burned with cigarettes, the perpetrators assuming that a 'working girl' couldn't cause them any problems. So how do I know that it is factual but allegorical, that FF was not the culprit? I know because I was sitting having lunch with him and a friend and favorite local provider when he got the call from the victim, a good friend of his, and to a lesser degree mine, someone who skipped lunch with us to take a date. So why the post, because it was killing him to not be able to do anything, to help in any way, to respond in some way. I must admit that this post and how he did it surprised me, I expected him to take up the method put forth by our good buddy Two Nutts, who is also a friend of the victim, and grab some weapons and go hobbiest hunting, or to at least bring the perpetrator into the fray. He had to take some kind of action, and he chose a calmer, more measured and thoughtful way to do it. To steal a line from Rachael Dawes, and I paraphrase- It is not what is inside of us, but rather the actions that we take that define who we are as a person. I believe he is not done, but that most of his actions will never see the light of day, this will be the only public airing. He knew before he did it that he risked his future with both providers and hobbiests alike if it backfired, but if you think that caused him a second thought then you really don't get him at all.

One of the major points he wanted to make was the issue that we as men may view ourselves as clean, safe for bareback fun, but that basic tests and inspections don't speak to the hidden nasties that we carry, such as HPV and chlamydia, that we can secretly pass to unsuspecting partners, paid or otherwise, who then pass it to a another partner who unwittingly takes it home to give to someone who now has been put at a great health risk without ever having had the chance to protect themselves, or to at least have the option to chose what and how much risk they might assume. I think from the discussions he has brought out thought provoking comments on that along with the other issues here, and though he can't change what has happened, he can create an atmosphere that may help keep it from happening again; even if only once it will be a good thing.

So did what happen rise to the level of rape? Criminally, the case could be easily made, emotionally, well there is no doubt there. Yes there were only two people actually in that room, one sees what happened as an act of sexual congress getting carried away and going regrettably too far but with the acquiescence of the victim, the other sees it as violation and emotional trauma, and the mind makes rationalizations and tries to correlate the feelings and emotions with facts and makes the allowances it needs to, to either carry on or not. This can be a very dangerous game that we play here, each instance of two people together sexually is totally an island of experience, and what one provider / partner may consider acceptable behavior and playfulness, may be considered by the next partner to be violent and degrading, it is a slippery slope and something every date has to play out, and we must always remember to be aware of. Could she have kicked and screamed and perhaps changed the course of action? Perhaps, but in no way does that justify or condone what happened, make no mistake, that was wrong no matter what level of degrees one might try to apply to it. This was how she made her living, what would bad reviews do her if she didn't quit protesting, could she still get work, would her reputation be tarnished as a 'good'provider, and like sexual harassment in the workplace, one may accept what they feel to be their fate in order to preserve their own well being, but it is morally and legally wrong. End of story.

So what we have in the end is a very sad story. We have a good person who is emotionally distraught, unable to work, seeking counseling and help, trying to heal and put it all behind them. We have a hobbiest who did not intend the grief he has caused but is having to deal with the consequences of his actions. It doesn't matter who it is, I firmly believe that the issues are the same no matter which provider it might have happened to. I can not see any reason that names ever need be named here or anywhere, it serves no point, exactly why FF's allegorical story provides us all we need to think and discuss the situation. There is no happy ending here, there is tragedy delivered upon both the victim and the perpetrator in some ways.

I was going to say perhaps it was time to move on, take something from all of this and hope that we are more aware and thoughtful of our actions, that something learned here is the best that can be hoped for. But maybe people aren't done, not my place to say. FF was willing to take all the heat in order to protect the innocent, but I felt I needed to weigh in because I fear the heat was starting to have an opposite effect, and that would only make a bad situation worse. As in any story there is so much that hasn't been put out there, from both sides of the story, and layers and tendrils that reach far and wide in the 'hobby', but this was never intended to be a case study, just a seemingly simple event that took a tragic turn and morphed into something bigger than imagined.

Sure I missed a few, sorry, but I must say that I was really glad to have seen all the input and even more glad to see that it was to a man, and woman, that everyone came down on the right side of the line.

Over the past couple of weeks I've had the opportunity to have some pretty good dreams of providers I had not met before. I tend to stick to a few regulars. I had the chance to meet Sensory Surprise and partake of the famed nuru massage. The nuru massage was an interesting experience and something most should try at least once. First, I appreciate what emotional strain people are under, and I understand what Freckle Freak was trying to do. I'm not convinced it was fair or proper to do it that way, if I can be forgiven those quaint notions. I was educated in a previous century.

Let's begin with the idea he was "taking the heat". That seems pre-constructed. The immediate reaction wasn't condemnation, but that he had to be joking, or his account had been hacked, or he'd taken leave of his senses and was writing gibberish. It really wasn't until later, when he failed to reappear and defend himself one way or the other, that some people began accusing him. So the concept faltered right out of the gate. FF's reputation proceeded him here, as he should have expected.

Second, bringing this up to an unsuspecting group of people one has no intention of ever filling in completely is ill-considered. It's like the old days, when the dirty parts of books were translated into Latin so only the educated could whack off to 'them. People were entirely within their rights to ask "Who was it?" What else should have been expected?"Who was it?" can make a big difference in our attitudes. If this was a provider known for crying wolf it's a different situation than if it's someone known for trying to bareback every woman he meets. Those of us on the outside had no way of knowing; a week on and we still don't. We were just asked to act as a Greek chorus while FF rendered the verdict. I understand that there are watertight reasons for not revealing names. That should have been the reason to post hypothetically, not realistically.

And yet, everyone in the know admits only two people know what happened. Maybe FF gave an accurate portrayal of some private communication he had. If so then this really isn't a he said / she said deal. Juries convict on less.

I'm not trying to be harsh. I think FF did what was in his heart under very stressful conditions. But under very stressful conditions it's often good to think more than twice. Everyone here who spoke spoke against rape. If that comes as a surprise the world is a lot worse off than even I imagine it.

I let her know I probably won't be in town next week to see her (very depressing) , but that if she advertises here, why'all will keep her busy. Being an older guy contacted this lady about two weeks ago and had the opportunity to meet her. She is a very nice lady but is a bit rushed. I would put her looks about a 5, and her service at a 6. She is not a hard body but not flabby either. She isn't a good kisser but has nice hands and knows how to use them. Didn't go the french route as she seemed to want to get to it which we did. Those of us on the outside had no way of knowing; a week on and we still don't. We were just asked to act as a Greek chorus while FF rendered the verdict. I understand that there are watertight reasons for not revealing names. That should have been the reason to post hypothetically, not realistically.

And yet, everyone in the know admits only two people know what happened. Maybe FF gave an accurate portrayal of some private communication he had. If so then this really isn't a he said / she said deal. Juries convict on less.

I'm not trying to be harsh. I think FF did what was in his heart under very stressful conditions. But under very stressful conditions it's often good to think more than twice. Everyone here who spoke spoke against rape. If that comes as a surprise the world is a lot worse off than even I imagine it.

I'm a very infrequent poster and slightly less infrequent reader. Seeing the residue of the storm on page 1, I flipped back a few and read the initial FF post.

My two cents? It reads like allegory. Don't know FF from Adam, but the tone is one called largesse confession wherein the confessor imparts not only too much information but also self incriminating motive. Its a foil. Kind of like the end of a Scooby Doo show. All its missing is the "And I woulda gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those darn kids!"

So, why does a person write such a satire? The same reason anyone has ever written satire, to mock and inform in the cruelest way possible. Someone who actually did this act is squirming to high hell. In turn, all of you have spent a nice amount of time thinking interesting thoughts.

Unintended (maybe) Outcomes?

1) The community has been forced to stomp on the paper tiger. That being said, by doing so, you verbally committed yourselves to a safe, respectable behavior. Next time the bareback opportunity presents itself, you'll think just THAT much harder before giving in to the little head. (positive)

2) A little bit of introspection. I mean, after all, if this happened. If this COULD happen, then why aren't we all being more careful and being tested more frequently and. And. You get the idea. (positive)

I go on vacation for a week and see what happens. Funny comment? Maybe yes, definitely no to many others. I thought it was funny because humor has not been in my life much the past two weeks. First off I love you Sensory your posts with or without my defense were perfect. And thank you for all the advice over the past week. Ilapp, B Beal and somewhat AA all brought out what I wanted discussed. Trust behind closed doors. Hobbyists taking and having control and putting their selfish interests first without regard to the providers. The disease factor and how unpredictable and hidden it can be.

If I had told the story, not in the first person, everyone would have read it the manner of, She said, He said. Everyone would PM me asking 'who was it'. It's not important 'who' but that it happened. I am tired of people who sit back and watch dogs get kicked, children abused and women attacked and all that's said is 'I don't want to get involved. ' It's not my problem. ' I GOT involved. It may not have been the best way, the right way, the wrong way, but I got involved. If you don't like it, tough shit! (Sorry 2N couldn't control myself). This happened and it doesn't make any difference exactly how or why. A wonderful provider was forced to have BB sex without her consent, and it doesn't make a hill of beans whether it was by physical force or psychological force. She didn't want it, it happened and it has caused a very beautiful spirit a great deal of pain.

The one thing nobody brought up is the one simple question that the hobbyist could have asked at the moment the line was crossed, purposefully or accidently – 'You know I don't have a cover on would you prefer that I use one? ' He was in control. Once both sets of clothes come off, hobbyists are in control. This one simple question could have changed the course of this meeting and set the stage for mutual consent or at least clarified what each individual wanted.

Ilapp you know I didn't care about my reputation. My reputation is insignificant to what happened and the discussion that took place on many levels. You're right, my writing sucks and I should have let you make the first post, but I couldn't let anyone else do it. I have spent hours with the provider and she is doing better. I have talked to the hobbyist and he seems regretful yet I have HEARD, no I don't know for a fact, how he has psychologically twisted other providers into providing the same type of service. Pattern makes this one a problem. I think he wanted to see what happened once he was inside. Would she or wouldn't she? Remember her first clue was cover in hand and saying 'Let's put this on and see how you like it inside' I think it's time for him to retire.

Lastly, thank all of those of you who DID think it was me and wanted my ass in a sling. It's important that these LADIES, not wh*res, god I hate that word for a woman, were defended. Now let's get on with business and the purpose of this board.

BigBad, heard about your experience from my ATF (Ms T) and I know I can't keep up with both so I will see them separetly. Did see teresa yesterday and holy cow it was awesome. Finally lost my mediterranean virginity (ah, hers not mine folks). But I did see her scary monster that some of you enjoy and continue to keep it at least an arm's length away.
