We stopped by Haven late tonight after bar hopping, and it was worth the $. 4.

The good part was the new bartender, Jamie, but the bad parts were not enough private rooms for lap dances. Only one room available.

We arrived pretty late, so there were only five dancers and one left right after we parked. No entry fee to get in, but one drink minimum.

I saw a cute brunette with a nice, but fake, rack and perfect long, brown nipples as I walked in. Since it was so late, I requested a lap dance immediately from her when she walked by. She brushed me off for a while then took a dance with another patron. Oh well. There was an older lady with short hair, much bigger man-made bags, and a nicer backside but no rhythm. She was very cute, but looked like her feet hurt. Two younger women were there pre-occupied by the other patrons, so I thought that it was my bat signal to leave. When the bartender saw that I was waiting for one of the girls, she politely mentioned that she was available for a lap dance. So, I did partake. Bleached blonde spinner with a tight body, Jamie is her name. She told me upfront that there were no extras to be had, but that was fine by me because I was just checking out the menu and talent. For some odd reason, Charlie repeated that I should only expect a lap dance as I paid him the dance fee of $, then he squeezed us in a time slot for the only private room in the place. We had to wait our turn but eventually 30 minutes later off we went. In total, I gave Charlie $ for three songs and tipped Jamie. 4 for the job well done. It was interesting that she did not ask for or expect a tip. As she stated at the beginning, no extras were provided, but I followed her rules and she went above and beyond to make sure that I left satisfied.

Overall, the bar's atmosphere was very laid back and the completely nude girls were a range of attractiveness. I would want to see the place with more girls, but if so there would not be enough time slots for the private room for a room full of patrons. Charlie needs to fix that by opening the upstairs rooms or something. Regardless, Jamie for the win in overtime. I will repeat for Jamie alone to see if she opens her menu, but if she still refuse extras I know that it will still be a great time. I did not determine any one else's talents, but overhearing the conversations in the room I know that YMMV with the regular dancers.

I have been on a quest to find places similar to McDoogals, a very laid back BYOB club with lots of women nowadays, but so far have had no luck. Many of the other clubs are very much "professional" (I. E. Hovering bouncers), mandatory drink purchases, and a host of other requirements that lead to a very clinical and altogether less than ideal environment to be comfortable. McDoogals is much the same as you describe Haven: laid-back, unassuming, and a surprisingly large selection of girls for a place out in Curtis Bay.

We went here around 10 pm last Thursday night, first time there since in reopened. It's very nice inside and no cover, domestic beers were 7 bucks. There were about 8 girls working, 4 or 5 black girls, 2 white girls, and a kinda plump Latin girl. The white girls were fairly attractive and I'd say 3 of the black girls were very hot. The names I can remember are Coco and Naomi. Coco approached us not long after we arrived and told us lap dances are available for 30 and the VIP rooms are 200 for 15 minutes. She never did ask if we wanted any, not sure why. I tipped her onstage every time but she never approached us again. Another girl whose name I can't remember stopped by after getting offstage to thank us for tipping her and said she was going to come back out to spend some time with us but never did, just went back to the bar and looked at her phone. It was very similar to Gold Club the week before, no one approached us even though they weren't very busy, seemed more interested in their phones and talking amongst themselves. I thought these girls were there to make money, but not so much from what I've seen the past couple of weeks. I may go back soon to see if a repeat visit gets me any more attention. On a side note, the barmaid / waitress said their food is very good and this surprised me but several people stopped by just to pick up take out orders so it may very well be. Damage is $175 for the room for 15 mins plus tip for the girl.

It is apparently related to violence occurring in the area of the Block. I have not visited the Block in months, but when I did visit the area, there were a lot of young people hanging outside the bars.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I was offered takeout by a dancer who clearly needed a place to go after work about a decade ago, and more recently have seen that if you stay until close a lot of the girls are open to after-hours activity. As far as medical implications, you should know whether you need to see your physician, based on what went down and whether you used some cover. No judgement, but a stitch in time often saves nine. For instance, there are even meds you can take that will prevent you from getting if you have an unsafe encounter. Good hunting!

I'll be returning to Baltimore next month for work and will be staying just off The Block (on purpose). Pre-covid I've had fruitful visits, most notably to Indulge day time.

Is that still viable? Will I find willing dancers there (or anywhere on the Block) mid afternoon on weekdays? Or is it effectively dead now?

You didn't have that back in the day. The block has declined a lot and it's sad that most of it started when the hood element made it's way down there now I hope no one takes that the wrong way but it is what it is.

I talked my self into an encounter with a woman from Jamaica. Talked crazy s88 t to her about what I would do to her she called my bluff and told me to meet her at the hotel I believe it was a holiday inn or ramada inn that is where the horseshoe casino is located now. I wasn't there for what I hear was it's hey day, but even I can see a definite decline all around from just the past 15 or so years. We expect the dancers to come and go, but clubs have come and gone or changed hands so many times that you can't keep count any more.

In that time, I've:

* Seen fights happen in the middle of the street.

* Seen people stabbed. And not necessarily with a knife.

* Seen the aftermath of gunshots.

* Seen BPD get into fights with each other.

* Seen off-duty BPD get in fights with on-duty BPD.

* Seen security literally throw people out of places.

* etc.

For as much shit as BPD talks and as much tax payer money as they take, they stand there or sit in their cars and do absolutely nothing. That was happening long before 2015 too.

Also, the clubs themselves not only tolerate but encourage the hood element. I don't know if they're still there but you used to see Bloods openly and visibly party in two of the clubs pre-pandemic.

It's been 3 weeks or so since the last report on Baltimore strip clubs. I visit B'more several times a year (last visit was in October) and usually hang out at the block, so I like to just keep up with the goings on there and in the inner harbor area in general. Bring me up to date. Clubs closing? Midway still the Midway (some things almost never change)? Anything else going on there?

What the hell happened to the handshake? Several trips and they girls just want to lame ass chat you up, all with the same script.

On weekday day / nights it's not super busy but still cute girls working the clubs. Honestly better for me personally because I enjoy spending a longer amount of time with one girl and if there's not a ton of business they tend to stick around more if that makes sense.

On the weekends it still gets busy and there's a lot happening. It's all business as usual for the back of the clubs, prices are getting crazy though.

Do keep your wits around you as there has been a ton of crime happening, in my experience there's always crime associated with the block. I saw a dude getting arrested and his car searched, eventually they came and towed the car away.

Have not been to any of the clubs since covid started, I can only imagine how it's gotten worse since 2019, the price increases and less bang for your buck. I was never there in the block's best years but I did see a decline the short window of time I did visit often starting from 2014 to 2018. It's been a really bad few years for the block and a lot of people want to end it for good.

I think they kind of just like running under the radar. You just have to take your chances and show up. Might be good. Might not. I don't know they're current schedule. Sorry.
