I have been away for a long time from MI action as I had work in Canada as well as twice a year travel to Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia etc. Now that travel is a distant fantasy, trying to get back to some action in MI. Also sad to read / note that the experience / s have changed a lot since the last 15 years or so. That is why, I had no urge for the scene here for a very long time. My last visit to Asia was in Dec, 2019, just before the COVID. Thailand was going to reopen in Sept, but now that is not going to happen due to the high COVID rate there, even though Phuket has opened, but not worth wasting money. I have also mongered in Kenya and Tanzania since I do make a trip there every year for photography. I was planning a trip there next month, but they are now on a higher alert.
That is why I turned back to see what is available locally now as the next travel could be well into late 2022 or beyond. Right now my thought process is that beggars can't be choosy.
