I recently got a lame massage and I plan to repeat. Dare I say some might consider her more talented than Blue-eyed Brittany. YMMV.

She asks that I give her a few minutes, so I go down the street to buy a cold bottle of water at a drive thru. I sit in the drive way of the store and wait ten minutes. I hear nothing from her so I send a text. She responds five minutes later, saying she is still running late. She needs five more minutes. I am starting to get frustrated, but all of her reviews suggested she gives the best massage in the city, so I am curious enough to wait. I wait a few more minutes before driving back to her studio. When I arrive, I text her I am once again parked. She text back that 'she will be just a few seconds, ' Ten minutes later she finally appears at the door. Total time late: nearly thirty minutes.

I remind her of her advertisement, and request an extended session in lieu of the half-off offer, but she tells me she has to give her friend a facial, and since she is already running late (as if this is my fault) she can't do that today, but will make it up to me in a future session. Fine enough, since I am curious about the massage.

The massage was indeed hands down the best massage I have ever received. She is a LMT and it shows. I was so relaxed I wanted to curl up on her table and ask for a blanket. Her hands are very skilled. Every kink was worked out of my tired muscles and I felt the stress melt away. One small complaint, she is VERY chatty during the massage, even though I really just wanted to close my eyes and enjoy the great massage she gives. It should be noted that most of this chat was gossip about other clients and secondhand knowledge about various providers on this board. I don't know if other gents are just blabbing during their massage, but it did start to get annoying and I had to ask her to change the subject more than a few times. At the end of the massage she goes through some of the various services, including salt scrubs and hot stones, all of which sound quite enticing. If those are as good as her massage, perhaps I can overlook some tardiness and chattiness.

As many know this week I had a little health scare with regards to edema related to my CHF. I had to be hospitalized for a few days until they drew my fluid retention down and stabilized my breathing capacity and increased my O2 Saturation rate. The cardiologist released me the other day and put me on a strict regime and diet change and told me to avoid 'vigorous activity for at least three weeks. ' I asked him about therapeutic massage and he said that sound like a great idea and gave me the names of a few people, but of course I was thinking of seeing Chrissy, especially since she had promised to 'make it up to me' at our next session and swore to me it would start on time.

I was feeling a little better today, and since it will be a while before I can play, why not treat myself to some pampering with a therapeutic massage. I contact Chrissy and we set up an appointment for 7:45 PM. At 7:20 PM, I get a text as I am driving, telling me that the client before me is running late, would it be okay to move the appointment to 8:15. I pull into Northgate's parking lot, and text back that that will not be okay. That client's problems are not my problems. I advise her that the general practice in this business for a client that is extremely tardy is to either pay the price agreed for an abbreviated session, or to send them away and reschedule that client for another time. It is rude to delay another client's scheduled time. I inform her that I will be at her studio at the time agreed, and that she better deal with the situation like a professional.

I am at a traffic light near her studio and another text arrives pleading with me to wait until 8:15. I drove all the way out there, so while quite frustrated I agree. I go down the street and buy a bottle of water. At 8:10 I make my way back and as I pull into the studio, I see the other client departing and figure she might need a few minutes to clean up change the linens etc. I park and inform her that I am there.

At 8:28 she send me a text that says: 'OMG, arr, this is awful. ' No apology, no acknowledgement of how much she has inconvenienced me. I wait a few minutes and at 8:35 she still has not arrived at the door. I have now been parked at the studio for 20 minutes. I send her a text informing her that she is now approaching an hour late for our scheduled appointment. I tell her is she is not at the door by 8:45, I am leaving and going home and writing a negative review. 8:45 comes and goes, so I leave, come home and write this fair and balanced review.

Recommendation: HELL NO! Fool me once shame on me; fool me twice shame on me!

I inquired after the fact of a few folks that had written good reviews of her on various sites about her punctuality, and every one of them admitted she is often tardy, but none of them reported this accurately in their reviews. Folks, you are not being mean, if you are being accurate. Ultimately you are enabling a poor provider if you continuous to cut them slack when they are tardy repeatedly. Furthermore, you are misleading prospective clients when you tell such white lies in your reviews in the name of being nice. Be honest and accurate and balanced when you write a review. Make sure you tell the good, the bad, and the ugly, if that is how it went down.

A question from a low volume guy: If a provider seems awfully open about the services offered (saying that they're FS, that they don't do BB, that they have friends) without my even asking; should I be worried about a possible sting?

At best, she's careless. You've already considered the worst case scenario. Unless she is well reviewed by respected posters on this site, I would stay away.

Similar thing happened when I scheduled with her last time. About 15 minutes away from her location (and 30 minutes into a 45 minute drive from the east side) , she says she has to cancel because the power went out. I said okay, maybe another time. I cruised the neighborhood anyway, but all porch lights were on. Hmmm. Maybe everyone else has a generator out back. Yeah, that's probably it. Anyway, she offered me an alternate time 2 hours into the future, but I couldn't and wasn't sure if I wanted to accept if I could.

Everyone writes such amazing reviews. I've had nothing but trouble and haven't even made it beyond the scheduling phase! .

The fool that I am though, I'll try again.

Yep, you've experienced the worst, the cancellation and maybe even a contrived excuse. It happens in this hobby, things sometimes get in the way for these gals, they have families, interuptions, etc. When you do finally get to see her odds are great that you will be thrilled with the results. She is a great gal and does her best to fulfill things even though it doesn't always work out 100% of the time. I'll take 95, or 90 even. It is merely one of the risks that we run; disappointment occassionally. Go see her, you'll be glad you persevered the inconvenience of a cancellation.

Sadly, I must confirm some recent reports about Curvy Crissy. She gives a great massage and I like her a lot. But twice now I have set up an session in advance only to be stood up at the appointed time. Texts go unanswered, etc. I don't know what is going on with her. But she is losing business because she is unreliable. Oh well.

While we all have our preferred means of dealing with difficulties and challenges, I typically inform a therapist or entertainer that until she gets her shit together that I won't be wasting my time trying to schedule the illusion of an appointment that can be cancelled upon a whim or change of mind. I firmly believe that if a therapist / enterntainer loses 50% of her business, she will suddenly (as if through divine intervention) experience far fewer emergencies, inconveniences and other events leading to cancellation of appointments. If we constantly accomodate their inconsiderate behavior we become "enablers" of dysfunctional behavior which will only reinforce their belief that they can get way with inconsiderate conduct indefinitely

I'm afraid my experience with Crissy (or lack thereof) corresponds with the not-so-good reports here.

For example, I texted her the other day to see if she had appointments available that day, as I was going to be on her side of town running errands. She texted me back saying she was available. I asked her what times she had. She said. Nothing. I texted her again, what times do you have available? I heard. Nothing. Once I was on her side of town & done with most of my errands, I texted her saying I'm down the street from you, let me know if you're available. Heard nothing.

I have no freakin' idea why she responded she was available and then proceeded to ignore my follow up texts when I was trying to set something up. But it doesn't matter now. She's not worth the time of day. As always, YMMV.

A long time ago, these women learned that, whomever has the golden pussy, rules. Or, put another way, for every one guy who won't tolerate that kind of incessant scheduling drama, there are another nine waiting who will.

Remember that these ladies have an unending stream of customers. If you made $100-ish per hour, you could work three hours a day, five days a week and clear $75k+ and report whatever the hell you wanted to Uncle Sam to minimize tax burden while staying off the radar. With a gig like that, it's easy to get loosey-goosey with appointments because you know there is tomorrow and someone else willing to deal. There aren't that many REALLY good massage people in the Greater Cincinnati area. If I were an attractive single woman, I'd go get my LMT certificate and set up shop somewhere. There are few markets with the potential that this one has, hell there's even a TV show fictionalising it. Until supply outpaces demand, we have little choice. I am not going to stir the pot with the particular provider mentioned, but I have been doing this for a few decades now and have had plenty of legit LMTs (some offered HE some didn't, but all gave a relaxing session and it was sensual despite where their boundaries may exist) when I am in the mood for being pampered without doing a full scale session with a GFE gal. In fact, for the old timers, I go all the way back to Jill Matthews.

At worse, a few of them may have ran five minutes late, but never more than twenty, or for goodness sake not hours and days.

What we have here is a clear cut enabling from gents. I find it interesting I was lambasted a couple of weeks ago, but since then we now have at least six guys or more to come that have come forward to report my bad experience was not an outlier.

My goal is never to ruin a provider's business, but to help guys not make the same mistakes I made and hopefully get whatever provider we happen to be reporting issues with to perhaps endeavor to clean up their service issues.

Sadly if we have other gents (who must be comfortable with poor and fluctuating service) not only defend the provider, but attack anyone that dares to suggest there are problems, not only is the provider not encouraged to improve, guys become fearful of being honest (even if it isn't worded as strongly as mine was) and thus a new whole crop of guys that get let down.

Trust me, there are ladies out there that go out of the way to be efficient and accurate in their scheduling and customer service. Whether we are talking about this provider the dustup occurred over, or some other provider we really are not doing them or the men any favors by winking at it.

I will tell you that HelpMeRhonda gives a fantastic massage, and I used to see her frequently, and I can never remember her being less than punctual one time, regardless of incall or outcall.

There are others out there, but she is the prime example that pops into mind.

Maybe some guys will suggest other ladies that give great massages without first stressing you out over getting the schedule run around so that you are not stressed out before you ever lay down on the massage table.
