The young, chirpy voice on the phone is the best thing about it. First, it's located in an office park, sharing a building with a bunch of businesses. Thanks to the full glass walls, you get to make a VIP entrance (even at 8 pm there were a lot of people working). Second, the place is quite dumpy. The room I got was right next to the entrance door, which meant my gal was answering the door throughout. My gal barely spoke english and evidently had zero (or even negative) massage training. Worst massage I ever got. She was pawing at my back like a dog searching for a bone. The incessant, circular rubbing numbed my skin wherever she focused. I actually told her to switch sides at one point for I couldn't take it anymore. Moreover, some moves were actually uncomfortable, such as rubbing across muscles or across the bones of the hands and feet instead of along them. Ridiculous. Covered by a towel at all times, there was no teasing and no further services despite an obvious visual cue and my asking "are you sure?" when told it was over. As I left, I told her I wasn't tipping because the massage was bad. She got a bit flustered telling me that other people have complimented her. To which I replied that I am amazed they are still in business. She denied having no training at which point I left for her vocabulary was too limited for a reasonable conversation. I didn't get to meet whoever answered the phone.
Note that I didn't argue with her to be a dick, but rather in the hope that she'll either get the training, or that she gets replaced. Perhaps another sucker will benefit at some point. For all of you lucky fellas: stay away.

FWIW, I've been at Zen recently and received their usual high level of service.
So. Third (or fourth) trip to the new Zen in Chemsfaaad, and I was lucky to draw Claire. Above average massage, personable attitude. She's good and I found her a bit playful too. Definitely a repeat. I didn't push any boundaries, just laid back and enjoyed her work. She didn't ask for $/ tip, which is big in my book. I took the hour for 6 and tipped 4. Would highly recommend.

Not 100% but there is an Asian independent who gives massages in Lowell and will allow you to strip naked but does not allow any romming and makes you do the HJ yourself. So if you want to spend $60 plus tip for a truly lame experience and that you could do at home knock yourself out.

She finishes with the call, apologizes and starts the backrub again. Then the door bell rings, she excuses herself to answer the door and bring whichever one you poor guys in. I hear her arguing with I guess, whoever was supposed to be working the desk. I look at the clock and I have been in the room 10 minutes.
Jenna comes back in the room, apologizes again and immediately starts with the tease. She lets me know to tell her when I want to turn over. Then the phone rings again. She answers and goes outside to argue with whoever again. She comes back in, apologizes and tells me she asked her boss to give me back $5 of the house fee. She tells me to turn over and she will take special care. So I turn over and she starts "racing as fast as she can" - then the phone rings again. She walks away and answers the phone. When she comes back, I tell her to give a something to clean up with. She wipes me down, I get dressed and walk out. At least it was only $40 down the drain.
Most of us have had lackluster performances and I almost always will give a place a second chance, but no way with this place. Do what you want but I would suggest staying away. FYI. I wasn't in the room 20 minutes from beginning to end.
Sorry to hear about your terrible time. I am not making any excuses for Jenna. I would have hated it if it was happening to me. It was clearly not a good day for Jenna and it spilled over too you. Trust me most days are not like that.

I think late afternoon / rush hour commute time is a zoo and they can't afford not to answer the phone. I know some of these owners very well including Jenna. They all have the same trait in common to a fault. I have had several conversations with those I know well and can speak very candidly with. I have never been able to get anyone of them to understand the concept of satisfying the customer at hand and let the call go. They always miss the point and are only focused on not letting the "next customer get away".

I think you are jumping to conclusions a little too quickly. Jenna has been around and she will get things sorted out. She knows what the issues are. It isn't as busy as you are assuming. Believe me she has had days in just the past week or so with on a couple of people and the phone quiet. Sometimes it just all comes at once and she like all the rest need to decide what is more important in the long run to their business. She is in it for the long term and she will figure things out soon enough.

They had a couple of very busy days coupled with the usual childish drama with the employees. I was being told about these incidents before I could even ask. Give Zen another shot. Turning your back on this place means walking away from one of the best overall providers around.

Step one for her is to remove the silly "walk ins welcome" from her ad and require appointments. That's just an invitation for interruptions. Second is to find some way to handle phone calls. I get the challenge of staffing for unknown customer load but the appointment bit would help that too.
She suggested mornings are very slow for her so I'll try that next.
So I have been a regular at Zen for a while now, art the old location, when she was in Wilmington, and now at the new-old location. Sorry, but I'm done. Despite being on a first name basis, enjoying a great massage, the phone and the door interrupted todays session 9 times, including during the grande finale.
She was apologetic each time, but then the fon would ring again and a repeat of the 5 minutes of "Birrica road". Yes "we open til 8". Yes "birrica road".
Same conversation, same duration, every time. Finally she started just lightly making circles on my back while she tried to talk on the phone.
I never complained, saying only "no problem" each time. And then Claire came in and they chatted.
I'm done. No mas, can't take it. It's not a session, its a series of distractions and apologies. Because I know and like her I smiled and tipped and left.

Skills: 5 Massage was rough, lots of friction, not enough oil or something... but she tried, even said she goes to massage school for her license (she was serious about this I think).
Ending: 10 - She worked for it, even put the glove on and went deep when things werent coming along (was my 2nd pop of the day).
Location: 5 - The place is a little conspicuous, and yet interestingly camoflaged at the same. I get the feeling there are no further options than HE.

Ended up at Zen this afternoon and drew Hylan? At least that's what it sounded like. She was cute, probably mid 40's, thin. I think she only knew 4 words of English; five now if you count my name. Massage was non-existed, all soft teasing, I am not complaining mind you. She was very playful and I left happy. There was another girl waiting in their sitting room on the phone when I was leaving, much younger and cuter than Hylan. Not sure who it was as I have only been there twice now and the other I had was Clare.
