Before I even had my coat off, she was haggling for tips. And it really didn't stop throughout the entire massage. She also tried to get me out the door at the 40 minute mark but I talked her into continuing until I got my full hour. But I think YMMV from girl to girl at this place. Most important thing is the menu is expansive for the area.

This new ad popped up. Looking at MRIS the Ellicott City location was just rented. The Damascus location has ads going back from June 2012.

Since Korean establishments are more to my liking, should I look further?

I found some references on the Montgomery folder that refers to Damascus as a strictly legit place. I also found the owners name and looked up their massage license and certifications at the MD state website.

I used to frequent Rainbow quite a bit back in the day, but I've never been to Silk. I was thinking of remedying that situation soon, thanks to the info on this board, but I wanted to clarify something.

It's standard procedure to put the tip out in advance, in order to ensure service. But I've seen people list both. 6 and. 8 as the fee. I also understand that the extras are limited, which suggests $ would be overkill.

Can someone confirm what the regular fee would be?

It is the equivalent of comparing regular tuna to sushi/sashimi grade tuna . There are no formal definitions but sushi grade is supposed to be fresher and higher quality in the minds of consumers
Sushi grade commands a higher price as does silk. The regular price would be 0.8 to 1.0 Ive seen as high as 1.2

Adobe James, Silk has a limited menu unless you have been a long time customer. It seems the menu will expand (covertly) , after 5-6 visits or more. The girls use that time to their advantage expertly. Most of the time the girls expect you to pay $80-$120. 00 just for a HJ. If you leave that amount of money for a happy ending, you might get the feeling that you were shortchanged on service after you add in the entry fee. I would advise a tip of $40. If you tip more money than that, you will waste your money.

Some girls want to know how much you are going to tip them up front. If it is not an excessive amount or to their approval, the girls may give you attitude. At that point you should get dressed and leave because the situation will not get better. Complaining to the mamasan about the girl may help you out, but unless she knows you, most of the time it will fall on deaf ears.

If you still decide to go, set low expectations. Good luck.

It is located in a small office park about 1/2 mile west of Hana / One spa. It is in the 2nd building with parking located on the right hand side or behind the building. Small yellow yard signs posted all over place advertising 49 massages with 301-795-5888 written in marker on it.

What a waste, I was hoping increased competition would improve the services at Hana and Asian health.

I used to have a great time with Mona who worked at Silk this past summer. Just something that she would do that would cause me to relax very fast! Last time I went I heard that she was on vacation. Anyone hear anything about her recently? I would go back to silk in a flash if she returned.

Each time I asked for an extra she'd check with mamasan who (apparently) would say no. It kinda ticked me off, since I'd had enjoyed an extended service plan there literally hundreds of times 10 years ago when Yung and her buddies were in charge. Very sad.

After my disappointment at Kyoto and The now gone Suzy I went to the place in Damascus and had a 90 minute session with Anna. Great massage but ignored any hints. Stll for a good legit massage at a reasonable price I will go back.

When I emailed the site admin about it he claimed nobody has ever complained about this problem. Links I click on constantly take me to the wrong point in the thread. Either to the very last page of a thread or to a seemingly random post if I click on a specific message link.

I called the new place in EC to get the address. The woman on the phone asked if I was coming tonight and I said yes. She then said she would text me the address and hung up. An hour later and no text message. So I decided to text them and said no one ever sent me the address but still no response. I really wanted to try them out but am kind of put off by this. Any info on this place would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a corruption in the forum database. Could be an indicator of further issues to come.

Stopped by Kyoto yesterday late afternoon while everyone else was watching football. Thanks for making it a quiet day-more time for me. Drew a new girl (first day) from New York. Her name is Star. Quite nice. She gives a very thorough and relaxing massage; and speaks quite good English. Stop by and see her while she is around. Very enjoyable experience; pretty girl with long legs.

I don't think she is worth it. Would not recommend and will not repeat.

Well, today I had sometime on my hands so I thought that I would try this new TF spa in Ellicott City. You may have seen the ads on BP. I'm not going to go into details here as this is a little gem that needs to be preserved here in HC. I was fully satisfied the level of service I received. Do you sound natural on the phone, or is it possible she thought you sounded like the popo? I had success in calling and in my visit.

I visited Silk and met a sweet woman named Lilly. .7+1. Mid to late 30s. This place is always criticized for having overpriced services but still had an enjoyable time.

Everything is on the menu but the on looks I would only give my provider a 3 but body type was probably a 7 or 8. She defnately had a spinner type body but again she wasn't too good facially. Service was great too as she was trying hard to impress. I agree with the post in that this needs to be preserved in HC so I also wouldn't go into any more details.

I've noticed the new place in Elliott City has gotten some attention and people are starting to talk. Seriously, guys this place is a real gem and needs to be cherished and protected. I really like it since its only 5 minutes to my place and the experience is awesome. This is why this place needs to be on the dl. ML is gone and JHH is getting unwanted attention. We don't have many places left.

Stopped by the K spa at what I thought might be a slightly slower time on Friday afternoon. It was about 3:00, but I guess everyone was getting off early (from work) or something. The place was hoppin'. Met a guy on the way out as I was going in and that has never happened to me. His tie was loose around his neck, so clearly more relaxed than when he went in. I had to wait a few minutes in the ante-room while they ushered people around, and then after pleasantries, I was put in the sauna first for what seemed to be a little bit extra time. My therapist was Ruby, who was friendly and apologetic. I had a reasonably thorough wash down, and then back to the massage table for a good, though short, massage. She made apologies to the squinched time, and I was hurried out, after a quick hug from Ruby, by young-looking mamasan lady. Couldn't tell if that was Jen, or not. Been a while since I had seen her.

All in all, a relaxing, if not slow, experience. Meanwhile, the bell seemed to ring about 5 times while I was there.

Thought I would treat myself to something special for New Years. I have made several trips to TF and was more than happy. Tuesday I called and was told my favorite was not working. Couldn't get any intel if on Vacation or whatever.

Did the second call when I got to the location thing. When I entered I had a bad vibe, but given past experience there I though what the heck. Lady said she was 30, I would guess about 45. I think she must have been bad at math, or her parents didn't celebrate every birthday to save money. And really I don't like women who have a belly that is bigger than mine. To say the least I was disappointed. Service was not very good. I have had worse but it has been a long time.

And sometimes I get a long hour, going over 10-15 minutes. Once upon a time there was a place / provider who that was reliable.

OTOH my most recent visit same location, same person as noted above; It wasn't busy, it wasn't deserted, but I got the full hour.

Decided to stop by old reliable Silk near Laurel. Normal. 7 entry not busy that day. Therapist was Sophie, small spinner with Bolt-on C's.

Ok experience a little too silly for my liking but others may enjoy the levity. Limited menu but still enjoyable.

Well they are advertising new talent at TF. Jojo and Mimi. Long story short, no new talent. Same providers. Strictly an advertising ploy.
