Can anyone say why society has so much hatred for public prostitutes while embracing private prostitututes?

In general, people are uncomfortable in their skin/body and cannot tolerate the fact that a prostitute can make more money in an hour than they can in a day or even a week. That I think is the root of people's hatred. It has nothing to do with morals. People do all sort of things in the privacy of their homes with their sex partners. I won't go into their full description. God would be ashamed at that and cringe.

I would guess that from a womans stance that there man is seeing another woman and not her. Plus he might be able to spend the money better than on some hooker. From a mans perspective its about who has the most toys. Some guys want more than they can afford. I know you see some of the prettiest ladies on a ugly rich dude. Well these escorts are gorgeous. It might be the closest that a normal guy will ever get to having a beautiful lady.

So people hate for all sorts of reasons that are really silly. I just think its what some one else has and they want it also.

You are talking about two divergent forces here; the male reaction against it and the female reaction against it -

I think women are easier to understand when they want it stopped at any cost: some women think all prostitutes are victims, and self-project their own experiences and think how terrible it would be to be victimized as a sex-server to benefit the man who controlled/abused them. Some women see prostitution as the ultimate competitor, those using sex with their hubby or partner as the "hook" by which she feels she has her control of the relationship: if he can rent it, how he wants it, how is she to keep control?

Guys' attitudes I just don't get. Some are so brainwashed in religious bullshit, some are so pussy-whipped, and some are just so ball-less that they couldn't even unzip if they tried a hooker without blowing their wads - so they transfer their fixation against the ladies we love. I think no small number of the most vehemently anti-prostitution men are the ones who really most resent women in general.

Someone else in one of these forums wrote that for some of us [OLD in my case] have the best "dreams" of our lives and pay to have them. Believe me, I APPRECIATE having some lovely young lady straight out of a Penthouse dream cleaning my plumbing - how in the hell else could I experience this incredible magic?

NOBODY.

Society is schitzo; at least we here in the hobby know what we want, why we want it, and can be grateful to the ladies who provide for those needs. We don't hurt anyone, we don't manipulate anyone, and a LOT of us appreciate our wonderful dream partners.

Wives actually prefer their husbands going to a prostitute rather than seeing another woman because the former does not lead to any romantic relationship. But it is not just women who are against prostitutes - equal number of men as women are against prostitutes too. The reasons I gave I think are the causes of it. Jealousy is much much bigger an issue than we admit and men have jealousy just like women do.

Which is jealousy about the money that the prostitute is making. These women are afraid of doing it because it is illegal and carry social stigma and so they fume and boil from inside.

A)In countries where prostitution is legal and don’t carry much stigma, women don’t boil from inside but get into the act themselves and make money. Where is the moral dilemma in women of those countries? B) Of course, even in these countries, women who are not good looking and know they cannot get into prostitution would be the jealous ones. You will rarely find good looking women being jealous in these countries because they know they are not into this by their own choice.

About men. 1) you say that a lot of men don’t have the ability or inclination to have sex. So they resent other's fun. But they don’t resent other men having fun in marriage. So while it may be a reason. I think it is a minor one. 2) Even the religious stuff. I doubt is the reason. Because people in public life. Ones who like to control other people. Will often use other more palatable reasoning to achieve their goals. Saying in public that you are against it because you are jealous of the money they make doesn’t have a chance. And as I said, God would not exactly be thrilled to be in any bedroom in this world. 3) About prostitutes being exploited. Please. People who think so should look at their own paycheck first and then look at the prostitutes' one and then decide. You want to do something for the exploited people? Then do something for the roofer who is doing backbreaking dangerous work in the heat of day for very little or for that guy building your house for today's meal.

Actually for you morning wood risers 6-8am is really not a bad time. I have hit the area at that time and was happily surprised. As these ladies know what men want in the morning and they do get up for the occaision. Of course its always hit or miss so best of luck.

Hey all. Was driving near the area so decided to check out the usual hot spots from my car. Was not going to stop and go inside. Drove by Fantasyland. About 1030 Friday night. Usually people parked out on the street. Last night. Only about 6 cars in the parking lot. Playhouse was dead also. Maybe 12 cars near the theatre. The gay bathouse or whatever the hell that AIDStrap is on the side was packed (pun intended). The new bikini bar (well. Not that new. Forgot the name. On Lois) was actually very crowded. I went there once. Late. $25 for a clothed lap dance is not much of a reason to ever go back. Might be different now.

Rtff and didn't see much on the other 3 known (to me anyway) theaters east of Tampa near the Tampa/Brandon border. There are 2 on Adamo Dr on 1 on US 41. I've been to all of them a handful of times and was not too impressed, however this monger knows YMMV.

I've seen a handful of TV/TSs and one very timid couple at the one on 41. Did run into a not very pretty white working gal at one of the theaters on Adamo and haven't been back to the other since they shut down the theater part. (did they ever reopen it? )

I know everyone's experience is different and it's all about being at the right place at the right time, but I'm just asking if anyone else has seen any hope out there in east Tampa. Besides the 3 I mentioned, any place I'm missing?

I drove the Drew Park area this AM out of general boredom...was sad to see that the building where the "legendary" Aquarius Video had been demolished...every thing is gone...just a vacant lot...all of the lingerie places are vacant except for Body Talk (which had an empty cop car next to it) and the Legend of Sensual Secrets. Went by about 8 pm, there was one grandmother, but it just wasn't that dark, or I wasn't that drunk. Will try again in the afternoon. I hope they are back.

The theaters have been pretty hit or miss lately. Here's my humble assessment:

Playhouse - I want to love this place based on previous experiences (2001-2005 - The Wonder Years), but 99% of the time it's a sausage party. Don't stop to fast in there, lots of tailgaters in there trying to hitch their trailer to your ride.
The good thing about Playhouse (don't know if it's still true or not) is that unlike the other theaters, if a couple came in it was at least an 85% chance they were there to play.

Thee Love Shack / Hotflixx / Whatever the hell it's called - Hit or miss. Mostly sausage fest but occasional working girls. They have a couples only room with all the peepholes plugged so there's not much to see most occasions.

Fantasyland - Has a lot of eye candy come through, but not always guaranteed play when a couple comes in. With the locking theme rooms a lot of action happens behind closed doors.
Occasional action in the arcade, but be prepared for Space Mountain lines with no "fastpass" action. With my luck, I usually get stuck in line waiting behind Mr. Whiskey Dick who, after 25 minutes of chasing a nut, finally cums and the couple leaves exhausted.

The Tampa Tribune this morning reported a number of arrests at adult businesses in Drew Park. Nine lingerie shops have been closed and police report 163 arrests in the six month undercover operation. There were 22 arrests at Playhouse Theatre and 21 arrests at Fantasy Land. The undercover operation came from residents nearby complaining to police and the community redevelopment agency voted to spend $132,000 to help pay for police overtime and enforcement.

I posted a few months ago about going to Drew Park and seeing that all of the lingerie shops appeared to be shut down with real estate for sale signs on them. Your post explains why.
