Though if you must visit the theaters, try 6 AM
MD,
I think you're playing with fire if you're visiting any of the theaters in Drew Park these days. You never know when another roundup is gonna happen. Yes, I know that's exactly what LEO wants us to think, but, you know what, I think it's something to consider.
Good luck and stay safe.
Cheers,

That's when Dunkin's puts out the jelly filled for the day so chances are LEO is busy. I have to agree with Dick, LEO is pretty crafty these days. Take care everyone and stay safe.

Did a drive by of Drew Park last night
Hey all. Was driving near the area so decided to check out the usual hot spots from my car. Was not going to stop and go inside. Drove by Fantasyland. About 1030 Friday night. Usually people parked out on the street. Last night. Only about 6 cars in the parking lot. Playhouse was dead also. Maybe 12 cars near the theatre. The gay bathouse or whatever the hell that AIDStrap is on the side was packed (pun intended). The new bikini bar (well. Not that new. Forgot the name. On Lois) was actually very crowded. I went there once. Late. $25 for a clothed lap dance is not much of a reason to ever go back. Might be different now.
sniff sniff...a moment of silence
I drove the Drew Park area this AM out of general boredom...was sad to see that the building where the "legendary" Aquarius Video had been demolished...every thing is gone...just a vacant lot...all of the lingerie places are vacant except for Body Talk (which had an empty cop car next to it) and the Legend of Sensual Secrets. Wonder where all of those generous skanks from those places all ended up?
Playhouse Geriatric Sex Center
"...Tampa police arrested two men Saturday night for having sex in public at a Drew Park adult theater. John *****, 60, and Frederick *****, 71, were each charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and exposure of a sexual organ....***** and ***** were having intercourse at the Playhouse Adult Theatre..."
I suppose they cashed their social security checks to cover the admission fee.
Wow - I feel safer already!!
11 pm at Fantasyland last night, one man was arrested for indescent exposure. The decoy couple was a smoking HOT 20 year old blond wearing a tank top and tight jean. The male cop was about 25 years older and wore a baseball cap, jeans and T shirt.
She sat on his lap and would grind her hips and periodically reach for his crotch. The couple just sat there and never exposed any skin and it became apparent to all but one that something was amiss with this couple.
Thank God that 4 of Tampas finest rushed into the theater to save an audiance from a weapon wielding maniac.
Thank God Uncle Leo has his priorities straight. It's amazing how they'll waste resources on crap like that? Your tax dollars at work!
Thanks LEO, just wondering...
What film was being screened here last night? Did you give it 2 thumbs up? I'll sleep better tonight knowing no one is masturbating at the adult theater. Glad you got your priorities right and left the burglars/muggers alone last night

Ironically as the foreclosure crisis
The Tampa Tribune this morning reported a number of arrests at adult businesses in Drew Park. Nine lingerie shops have been closed and police report 163 arrests in the six month undercover operation. There were 22 arrests at Playhouse Theatre and 21 arrests at Fantasy Land. The undercover operation came from residents nearby complaining to police and the community redevelopment agency voted to spend $132,000 to help pay for police overtime and enforcement.
Grows and investment scams as well, po po cracks down on these 'criminal' acts? ! What a waste of time and resources to hassle assenting adults at fun? It's way too much work and reaearch to battle real crime! Even the Lingere Bowl left this sorry azzed, quasi-puritanical, confused city. Makes RENO 911 look like a solid po po agency! Hope none of us here got nabbed! ? Well. At least Gruden is gone! LOL!
