General question about BBBJ: I had my first provider about a month ago. At some point I went to the CDC web site and looked up the stats, but I don't remember the numbers off the top of my head, but they don't really matter because getting something from BBBJ is definitely possible.

If dealing with some discomfort and having to take some meds is your only significant concern if you get something, then that's one thing. If you'd need to have a conversation with someone else about why they need to go get tested, then you need to think about how that would affect your life.

This hobby has risks. Condoms don't protect people from herpes and other skin on skin "ailments." There are many factors that affect HIV transmission. For guys, things are pretty safe overall. With no open sores, even BBFS is relatively unrisky for HIV. However, there are all kinds of other nasties you can catch especially venereal warts and herpes, both of which are lifelong. They are more important reasons to be careful. FIV is probably unheard of as a mode of transmission.

The riskiest is Greek, unprotected. And far riskier to the gal than the guy.

The inhumanity! Thanks for clarifying what that was. Anyway, you got to get checked out. There are places you can go on-line if you need anonymity. Pay the two hundred bucks, make up a fake email and communicate about where and when you can get tested. When you get your results at that email, then you can decide how to deal with it and delete that email. If you get results that say you don't have an STD, you'll sleep better. And so will we! Damn -don't ever post your taint ever again. We can't unsee it. Shit! Oh by the way, the charge to your card comes through with a name that is very innocuous. I'm heading to the doctors this week. I put powder on the affected area and everything flared down and is back to normal pretty much. I was working (and sweating) all day yesterday in 95+ heat. I did do some research online about rash's in that same area, and came up with pics of what exactly like mine. A lot of people saying its yeast / fungal. No idea how I would of caught this though. Going to powder up, and stay freshly aired for the rest of the week.

As for where you caught it, most of us have a little bit of the fungus as a natural part of our body's biota. Hot weather & friction are all that's necessary for it to flare up.

Anti-Monkey Butt powder is a good preventative but once it has flared up, Tinactin is the way to go.

I grabbed some Lotramin for feet with fungus killer and have been spraying it on. Feeling a lot better. I've been scrubbing it in the shower. Which is definitely not a good idea because its just opening the skin back up. But yea after comparing it to pictures / stories it sounds like jock itch. Eeek. Talk about a worry.

HPV is the Human Pampalloma Virus, the cause of genital warts. This is a self limited disease that is easily treatable without long term consequence in men. In Women various subtypes have been associated with cervical cancer. Perhaps you meant HSV, the cause of herpes. HSV-1 is primarily oral and the cause of "cold sores". HSV-2 is genital herpes and has no cure, IE Herpes is Forever. It should also be noted that herpes transmission occurs only during breakouts, but, like most STDs, these breakouts DO NOT have to be visible. And yes, you can get STDs (herpes, HIV) from BBBJ.
