well I hear its interesting. There are many doo's and donts. You want to read all the posts in one area to get a feel for things. Then learn from old timers. There are many sections in other area forums that will give you details on how to be safer. Although nothing is for sure. Just have to limit your exposure to certain situations. Me for example. I like to see a girl two or three times. walking before I think about making contact. Never say anything. Also keep an eye on your tail. unmarkeds will follow and see where you go and perhaps but you there.
You can read about it in the paper. 5 men and I presume 7 women as it said 12 were arrested for making arrangements to meet girls via CL. not much details. but we all know you even have to be more carefull out there. Too bad the LE cannot really do something that would help us like protect us on MAX or in our own neighborhoods. Some will make every effort to look unavailable but in fact are available. Those are the difficult ones to pick up but usually are the ones that look the best. The more strung out the more obvious they are willing to be. The unavailable looking girls tend to be new and more than a little frightened about getting caught themselves. A lot of times the girl will have a guy 20 feet in front or behind her. Another way to spot them is to make a couple of trips back and forth down the street. Look at her each time. She will most likely give you a signal that she is in fact working. Many times the girl will start walking back the other direction. This is a definite sign she has no particular destination. AVOID USING YOUR BRAKES. The lights are a dead give away if a LEO is down the street.
You should not stop on the main street. Instead drive past the girl and turn down a side street in her path. Park on the side and see if she starts down the side street toward you. Tap your brake lights when you see her in your rear view mirror to signal your intentions if she doesn't immediately start down the street towards you. Keep your doors locked. When she gets up to your vehicle lean over to unlock the passenger door. This is safer for you and you get a better look before letting her in your vehicle. Now here is the sticky part. To this point you have broken no laws. If she doesn't get right in and wants to talk, LEAVE. A LEO will negotiate outside the car and signal over your roof to other LEO in the area to move in once she has enough on her wire. Typically an LEO will not go down a side street or move more than 30 feet from a location. They will not get in your car because it is too dangerous for them. Once she is in your car leave the area. Make a few turns to make sure no one is behind you. If you can get on a highway for a brief shot do it. KNOW THE NEIGHBORHOOD YOU ARE IN. Move to another police precinct if possible. If you can, get to know the zone routes of the patrol cars within the precinct so a LEO that just saw you on one street doesn't see you a few blocks away. Once you are clear then you can talk. Usually there is the obligatory exchange of feels. You touch her she touches you. Now everyone is comfortable. Have your own spot to go. If she has a spot rest assured LEO knows about it or worse yet her gansta friends know about it. Don't go over $40 for 1/2 and 1/2. You will ruin it for everyone else. Typically $30 to $35 is plenty for FS. $20 for oral is sufficient. Have only the money you intend to spend available. Break it into parts and put it into separate pockets for the "that's all I have" bargaining tool. This process is for the ones that want more than $40. They don't get it and don't let them convince you otherwise. I have picked up strippers on the street I recognized from two of the nicer clubs in **********. Price? $40. Point is it doesn't matter if they get $20 a table dance, usually work for an escort agency at $200, or get "licks" (that's what they call us) off the chat/date phone lines, once they hit the street it's $20 or $40. If they have a phone number take it (usually good for two weeks before it's disconnected) but don't give yours out unless you want five calls a day.
They will not have condoms. These are considered criminal tools. Have your own but not on your person. Keep them in a place that it could be disputed they have been there for a long time. Know that condoms sometimes have an expiration date. Typically a year after production. Point is don't say if asked "It must have been there for 5 years" while the expiration date still hasn't passed. This information is only if you get stopped. Sometimes LEO will do this if the see you too many times up and down a street. They may roust you a little but in the end they have nothing. You don't need a reason to be driving around. Just don't be drunk, have your story straight and stick to it saying as little as possible. Suspicion of driving up and down the street thinking about picking up a SW is not a crime.
