Easier to get a burn phone than outsmart a smartpone
I use a smartphone but I use a separate account for everything connected to this hobby. Meaning I have a different Gmail account on that account that can't be accessed from my regular account. I also have a few different texting / phone apps like Google voice, Textfree and TextPlus. The same browser, but totally disconnected from my regular account. This keeps it totally private from people I know, but is it as safe as a burner phone. I doubt it. It's almost like having two separate phones, but actually only having one. Any thoughts?
Smartphones all have some sort of Device-I'd that is requested and accessed by many apps (eg anything Google); so that simple switching of which account you are logged into actually is telling these various apps that you are running around under multiple identities. While it is possible to spoof these IDs or other Unique Identifiers that are used it really isn't worth the time. All broadcasts coming from your phone have this as well as a few other identifiers (eg SIM Card code, IMEI, MeID) being packaged as metadata to the towers.
Feel Free to Ignore this.
I had some time on Tuesday around lunch and wanted a really good chicken sandwich. So I went to Silk where of course the lady at the front door asked for I'd. So I pulled the I'd that was on top and handed it to her. She handed it back and said 'No, REAL I'd. ' I looked, I had handed her my military I'd card. I am retired military, it is current, and valid. I thought what the hell. I handed her my drivers license and she said 'thanks, we need ACTIUAL I'd. ' At which point I explained to her that military I'd is real and actual, and that judging by the amount of underage girls I see with a Wisconsin drivers license that says they are 21, I would guess that she has that backwards. It ruined my mood and I knew that the sandwich was not going to taste as good, so I left.
I just feel like I had to get this out of my system and where else can I complain about a strip club?
Play safe,

B. U.
There's a strip on a State I'd that I've seen cashiers scan. It gives them all kinds of info that they wouldn't get from your Military I'd or a Passport. Whether it's for internal marketing info or a notorious data base IDK. If you want to try buying ammo with your passport or other voting acceptable I'd, you'll have to talk to a manager and jump through some hoops before they'll let you leave with it.
