Well, with a name like logix, I will explain the logic to TBWNN... It is called TBWNN because those in the know will know about it; others will not know its name. Hence, The Bar With No Name.

I am a senior here who has posted many useful reports both in public and private over the years, and haven't the nerve to ask the locale of this establishment... But, I am sure with my credentials, the info would be given to me at a moment's notice.

Hello all. I am not a senior here yet. But I do know the location of the TBWNN. I usually post on the MD board but have done some here. However, I want to reinforce what the seniors are saying about being careful what is posted.

Just my two cents here. This is a high risk business. People come and go all the time and only God knows who is LE and who is not. You just have to be careful. The only reason I know where it is is because I took my time to build a relationship with someone on here I trusted and thought highly of by reviewing their posts. There are some cool people here and the not only want to enjoy the hobby but protect it from the Gestapo in the outside world who don't monger for a living.

So, as a non-senior poster who had to fight for attention and the information, I want to say I think this is entirely the way it should be. This whole game is based on trust, caution, and plain old common sense.

Stick around, post some, get to know people and who knows what will happen.

Oh, if you don't already know, read the previous years posts on the Trashman, who is now in that great red light district in the sky. If you want to know the model for behavior on here, read his posts. I never knew him, but I surely miss him.

Google won't help. I've read the FAQ and knew what TBWNN meant...sort of...I actually thought it really referred to a bar without any indcation of its name (no signage etc). So much for that.

Please understand that I asked for a (cryptic) hint, not a GIS location. If that pushed the boundaries, then I understand, but I couldn't exactly gauge the boundary without asking a question. (I've also seen people give fairly specific info using the old ..-- technique; not very hard to break in my mind if people are really concerned about safety). IMHO
