Sheesh--even in the best of days in Cincinnati's OTR, we don't have them walking the streets NUDE! Thanks for the (hallucinatory) picture. Want to tell us more?
So... how long ago WAS the picture taken? I have adjusted the image to show what us plebians in the midwest are seeing in our fantasies...
You're better off having never had hundreds of girls like that walking the streets 24/7/365 for decades like we used to, because once they're gone it kills ya.:(
you can see the construction fence next to the girl. when they put that building up that was the beginning of the end for tyler. do you know who the girl is? is it molly or nicole by any chance?
some days i wished i never took up this 'hobby' and other days i wish i had started earlier and done it more often. pictures like those make me feel like the latter. ;)
i took it up in the peepshows when i was way ****, moved to the streets when i got a car, picked up girls as often as i could and i still wish i had started earlier and done it more often ;)
hey blugrass, that second pic is right before the next corner from when they were building that bu lab or whatever it is. that yellow light in the background is a restaurant sign on the other side of kneeland.

Just heard on the Fox25 news that the LEO's have found a body of a woman on BHA. Not sure of the details. And I was going to go for a stroll. Not sure if I want to now:(

the good old days.......
I think you got the location right Phat. Here another one just a little further down the street.
so gone. Deep down I fear that they are not coming back. Not unless we have a depression. The city is just so "clean" now. I think once the Central Artery came down, it was the end. I've been at this since the early eighties, and I've never seen things so dead.

For the guy who thinks the girl is naked from the waist up - she isn't. She's wearing a very small pink top. That is how they used to dress in Boston back before our current sad state of affairs.

Maybe that girl isn't naked from the waist up, but I remember plenty of SW's who would flash for the mongers cruising the streets, just to give you an idea of what you were buying. One of my favorite SW's of all time was this young blonde girl, wearing a mink coat, wide open, with a white bra, panties, and stockings - right on the street - with a killer body. Somebody please bring us a time machine so we can go back to that time for just one more night.

Pelham official accepts plea deal (from the Lowell Sun)
PELHAM -- XXXX, chairman of the Conservation Commission, has accepted a plea bargain for a lesser charge after he was arrested last month when he allegedly tried to hire a prostitute, according to published reports.
XXX, 51, of XXX, pleaded guilty March 2 -- six days before his scheduled arraignment date in Nashua District Court -- to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct.
Justice XXX ordered XXX to pay the maximum fine of $1,000, plus $200 in a state penalty.
Police arrested XXX during a sting operation between Feb. 9 and 10 at the Holiday Inn on Northeastern Boulevard in Nashua. Police said seven men and seven women were originally charged with "prostitution and related offenses," a misdemeanor, after allegedly posting and/or responding to ads on the Web site craigslist.com.
The men who were arrested, allegedly responded to fake ads that police had posted on the site's "erotic'' section. A woman, who was working with police, met the men at a Nashua hotel while police monitored the conversation. As soon as a financial deal was struck, the men were arrested.

Okay, as long as everyone else is remeniscing, I can't help but get in the act. I first got sucked into the Zone in the Fall of '91. Being a hick from the sticks of Cow Hampshire, I didn't know anything about it. My roomate and I came down from UNH to see a Grateful Dead show at the Garden, and somehow on the way home got on the Expressway south. In an effort to turn around, we took the first exit, and wound up in Chinatown. As we were getting turned around I saw a blonde in the street by the Med Center dressed rather scantily. I told my buddy that it had to be a hooker and we both stared in amazement. Naturally, I wasn't prepared to do anything about it that night, but I came back down myself not a week later, and I've been hooked ever since. It's actually been years to since I've down the C-town stroll, but it sounds like I'm not missing anything. Ahhhh memories...

If you stopped cruising anytime before 2001 and you came down to CT right now you wouldn't think you are in the same place. 1) no girls 2) a lot of the buildings have changed. Both 1 and 2 are related.

The Old Zone
I can't help but remember back in the late 70's when I first started visiting the zone. I remember being on I believe Lagrange St and having SW pulling my pants down while stuck in traffic. I don't believe we will ever see anything like that again. Stopped hitting the zone in late eighties or maybe early ninties. Love to hear about old stories. I was one of the guys who got a BJ while leaning against a building while traffic drove by, To be able to travel back to that time with what I know now!

More history...
The beginning of the end came when the Harvard football player, Andy Puopolo, was killed in a scuffle with a pimp. The pimp's hooker had relieved Puopolo of his wallet with the old 70's trick of putting one hand in a guy's crotch and the other in his pocket. At the end of his chase to retrieve the wallet, the pimp used a knife to end the scuffle - Puopolo was killed, and a friend wounded.
Kevin White, then the mayor of Boston, had declared the zone an adult entertainment area, and instructed his police commissioner, DeGrazia, to take a laissez-faire stance on the area. As a result the place was full of roving, young hookers who doubled as pickpockets. The real streetwalkers and bar-girls who worked Good Time Charlie's and The 663 hated the hordes of street thieves...club owners talked about banding together to do something about the problem, but could not agree on just what they could do.
Shortly after the Puopolo incident, DeGrazia left Boston and a new commissioner was installed, with instructions to clean things up. It didn't take long for the streets to get pretty barren. That lasted for a while, until the early 80's, when things began to get somewhat back to the original state - but never back to the craziness that marked the early and mid-seventies.

Old Boston
I can remember 1961, when the pimps had hookers in rooms along, Washington, Columbus, Tremont.
Sw's were out every hour of the day, slowly the yuppies moved into the south end and slowly it changed.
1970's and 80's
China Town was crazy at night, girls walking in the street barely dressed, as we all know the drugs have changed a lot of the girls from sweethearts to mean bitches.
Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, Brockton, Lynn,Chelsea,Taunton and old city that is poor, you will find what you want, I read that men are paying 40 for BJ,it is fools like this that make the price inctrease for all of us.
Never pay more than 20-25 for BJ.
