Well, I do not post to the forums very often unless I have hit a gold nugget or have some info to pass on, or just certain feelings about the hobby I wish to vent. The third reason is why this post is being made. I was on Councilman David Pepper's mayoral website, [url]http://www.davidpepper.com[/url] and happened to click on his so-called "Pepper Plan" for revitalizing the city. One of the things that he wishes to target is street-level prostitution. Now I ask the following questions:
1. Is targeting street prostitution really going to solve Cincinnati's crime problem?
2. Will the price of hobbying go up due to the street walkers being taken off the streets?
3. What is the future of the hobby in the 'Natti?
My answers:
1. Definitely not. Street prostitution is, in my humble opinion, a victimless crime. Now, there are those such as the CCV and it's hypocritical leader that would tell you that it is, but in reality, it is not. The real crime lies in the drug dealing that goes on, and this is what a lot of the girls get hooked on, and is the reason a majority of them turn to hooking. If the police would work hard to solve the drug problem, the prostitution problem would in all likelyhood solve itself.
2. Yes, the price of hobbying will go up. Why? Two reasons. One, if Councilman-cum-Mayor Pepper has his way, I would be willing to wager that legislation would be enacted similar to what is already on the books in Detroit. For those uneducated, cars would be impounded, and it would cost an arm and a leg to get them back. Two, if there were no street walkers, then hobbyists would be forced to turn to high-priced escort services that could possibly be rip-offs. A further cost to escorts is the chance of getting caught by a wife or GF, and having to pay for a lawyer when the divorce happens.
3. The future of hobbying in the Natti is about to change, for the worse. That is all I have to say about that.

For the most part I agree with you that prostitution is a victimless crime, and I feel what is contracted between two consenting adults is their business only. Of course the IRS would beg to differ but look at the married guy’s, anyone think they are getting it for free from their wives? Yes I know it is a marriage, but stop the mortgage payment the car payment, spending money etc. And see how much pussy you get! And you get a tax break for much of the expense of “ownership” vrs. “renting”.
You are correct that the majority of women who partake in the trade do so to support their drug habit. A few I have met are clean and do so to support their well being and maybe their children.
The main problem is with the fact that the neighborhood folks don’t like the visual aspects of mongers and prostitutes creating a circus type atmosphere in front of their homes, soliciting their daughters and wives or girlfriend’s as they innocently walk to the bus stop, market or school.
The wannabe pimps that try to take advantage of the working girls are another problem that would probably be best solved by lead in the left ear!
My suggestion is, if you find a good sw get some form of contact so you can arrange a pick-up for meeting discreetly and take your business to a private location. Starve the sw that is a rip-off and /or provides bad service.
Share good digits with deserving mongers with the permission of your provider (she may give you a discount for referral).
This I believe will prove good for the hobby and will keep prices reasonable as the girls will not need to work through an agency which I look at as worse than the pimps!
As for fines and proceeds from the sale of impounded vehicles, this is a drop in the bucket and will never solve the social ills that create crime.
It is a shame that the economy of this great land is crumbling to the levels of poorer country’s that share the problem of women taking to the streets for survival.
These politicians will always seek a soapbox and they love to lie to the frustrated neighborhood watch groups by promising to clean up the trash.

With regards to he future of the hobby, would it not be interesting if the municipalities selected some outlying area to be set up as a designated monger park. This park could be operated much the same as most dance clubs in that the girls work for tip’s only and pay a fee to the club management for shift time.
Mongers would pay a gate fee and cruise the park area to their hearts content until they find something of interest. Areas to pull off would provide privacy. They might even offer simple cabins with access controlled by a system similar to the automatic car washes! The main gate could also be controlled this way.
The municipality sponsoring this would benefit by the proceeds and the girls could take up their issues on tips with the IRS like every other hard working service provider.
Providers that give poor service or are subject of multiple complaints would be banned access. This could apply to mongers as well. No pimps or drug dealers allowed!
I understand some fashion of this is in existence in Europe, I do not know how they operate their system but it would be interesting if anyone knows.
Service no doubt would have a premium price however, no risk of arrest and an un-hurried atmosphere would promote better service.
Problems solved money for the municipality, less local traffic, reduced emissions!
Hell, we will even let the do-gooders picket out front with their signs.

OTR = Over The Rhine, an area just north of downtown where most of the "action" is. It's also very dangerous.

It took me less than 5 minutes to search the Cincy forum on the OTR. Within 5 minutes I had street names and a map that someone posted of the area. I had no problems mongering in Cincy based on the info on this post. Use the search function of this website and you'll find what you need.
For somone who posts alot, you should know better than to blast the Cincy dudes. Just chill out and learn how to use the search function...and RTFF.
