Hepatitis_C at county jail
As Hep_C has been mentioned, I did recall seeing this local news report on the increase of Hep_C inmates at the county jail. I believe the report is about a month old:

I would suspect that a fair percentage of providers who are I.V. drug users would test positive for Hep_C, but don't know for sure. I also wonder about the sterilization procedures of the places that many of the ladies get their tattoos and body piercings.

But it's the same machine used to sterilize hospital equipment. Uses pressure and heat to explode the microorganisms.
