They don't have a clue that most of us have jobs and regular lives that require us to plan our time. Most of them seem to be half strung out anyway, and time is not much of an issue with them. So they don't even understand why we get upset when they do that shit over and over again. A nice UTR I knew was like that and got so bad I just quit talking to her at all and she didn't even understand why I was upset. Its impossible to explain to them when time doesn't seem to mean a thing in their world. Its the same reason many of them say they want to get a real job, but don't understand why they get fired when they never show up on time.
