LAPD Stings at the City Motel

They get a room in there as part of a command post, and the cop/girls will run in and out of there taking breaks during a long time on the street. The thing to watch for, if you see hot girls going in and out of there, is to see what happens with guys who go and talk to the girls. It's sort of like "follow the money. " In this case, the money is the guy. If no girls are getting into the cars, or if they're all directing the guys towards a motel or location, then it's very possibly a sting (as we all know, female cops do not, as of yet, get in to johns' cars).
Watch the guy as he drives away and try to see what happens to him. Does he get out of sight? Does he get pulled over? Does he drive off down Fig a long way without being pulled over? Does he pull in to the Motel and walk in?
You need to scout out these locations and make sure.
LAPD will run stings with multiple girls, too, and they'll dress like hoochies. You will have great trouble telling them apart by their looks, you're more likely to catch on to what's happening just by looking at their specific actions.

Well, well, well boys. Hit Western as usual at about 8:30p. M. This Friday evening and nothing doing at this time from Western and Adams to Western and Manchester. Went to the Pig and at about 110th and Figueroa I saw a nice looking BSW, but she was snatched quick. Went down near 121st and Pig and saw an L. A. County Sheriff car pull right into the hotel. I told myself to get to El Segundo and hit Avalon. Hit Avalon at about 10: 15p. M. Near Colden and Avalon and saw a 5'9" BSW. We made contact and I turned around and pulled right across the street from the Jehovah Witness Hall. She asked me to touch one of her breast. I did so and she hopped in. Her name is Cinnamon. We went to 95th near Avalon and Colden. Man, her legs were nice. She talked about where her pipe was. She said, "Wait, my pipe is in my ass. " I started rolling and she was busting up as well too. I told her that's not new, but very common when someone needs to make clouds real quick. She acknowledged with a yep.

I didn't see a great deal of us mongerers out there either. I don't blame you guys. I hadn't been out on the track in about a week or two and I'm saving money as well.

I Didn't Think That Area Had Any Action At All, But...

The only street action that I can remember of on or around Hawthorne Blvd. in the vicinity that you mention was two separate incidents several years ago.
The first was a WSW smoking a cig and loitering on the sidewalk in front of the shoe store at the northeast corner of Artesia and Hawthorne at about 8AM in heavy morning rush hour traffic. I was on Artesia heading east towards the 91 freeway and couldn't even make a U-turn to get to her. Besides, I needed to be at work, so I passed. Also, it would have been too conspicuous to pick her up with everybody watching me. You could tell she wanted to be picked up because she looked directly at every car that passed. First time I saw something like that in broad daylight on Hawthorne Blvd. and I was very surprised. Being that brazen, I thought she may have been an LE decoy.
The other incident happened when I was picking up my vehicle from a repair shop on Manhattan Beach Blvd. just west of Hawthorne Blvd. I was standing in the parking lot around 12 noon and a WSW on the opposite (north) side of the street was walking west with her hands behind her back, fingers interlaced and covering her butt. (I've seen other girls do this that want to attract attention to themselves, especially on Century Blvd.). She looked back over her shoulder at oncoming traffic. Then I saw two mean looking, strong arm black guys with arms folded following her about 20 feet behind like they were pimping her. She got picked up right under the freeway overpass while I watched. The two black guys then turned around and walked back to where they came from.
Further north of Rosecrans, there used to be spillover action on Hawthorne Blvd. between Imperial and Century years ago. Girls that didn't want to look too high profile by walking on either Century, Imperial, or even Prarie (what I used to call the Love Rectangle) would stroll on this section of Hawthorne Blvd.
Otherwise, Hawthorne Blvd. looks pretty dead. I wouldn't go out of my way to cruise there. I think that the two incidences that I observed were just out of the ordinary.
