Trip Report, Tuesday afternoon
I am addicted to my old habits. First stop Jewel Box. 7 girls, some talent, but next to no conversation. 1/2 of one beer. I know it's a sin to waste. Circus: a few regulars, one of my favorites from a few months ago "Seven" appears to be sober, the right conversation and numbers. But I roam. Red Room pretty much a waste of time. 1/2 of another beer. Flamingo seemed to be a waste when "Laila" (thin, very muscular, close to an 8) talked the interesting conversation. We worked out the details when I spotted "Heather". A favorite from 6-8 weeks ago. Couldn't pass her by, so I changed gears, and forgot about "Laila" To the back, and an excellent, satisfying time.
Plaza (fire) property has a For Sale by Owner sign, with the notation "will build to suit tenant." That's interesting.

What you seemed to miss, are all of your negatives, are what makes The Block. If we want glitz and glamor we have Hustler and Scores, and to a point Fantasy's. Walking the streets of Baltimore is no more daunting than walking the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. The Block is a seedy strip of bump and grind houses where men go to indulge their basest fantasy. We enjoy edgy, and we are used to the upsell from the providers. I don't think you would last a minute in a fast paced arena such as Phila. Or New York, if you couldn't hang in Balt. The girls may not be 10's on your scale, but we have different thoughts on that. We are a city caught up in urban downturn, but as long as we keep our heads, the city will allow the Block to flourish.
What were you expecting from a city whose favorite food is a hardshelled bottom feeding crustacaen that you have to steam in beer and vinegar, with salt and spices. Read our forum and find out where the hidden gems are, or, continue to be the odious person you appear to be.
Millstream Inn in Woodlawn is closed due to no Electricity
I don't know if any of you venture over to the side of town, but in case you do, I wanted to give you the heads up that Irene knocked the clubs power out and they don't expect it back any sooner than Friday.

Wed. Afternoon Block Report
Was in Baltimore on an afternoon earlier this week to meet up with friends later that night. I'm DC / Rockville based, so don't get over to Charm City often, and like to enjoy when I do. Looked like the north side of the block (opposite Hustler) was pretty well dead. I haven't been in a few months, so not sure if it was hurricane related, places still not open from the fire, or just opening later.
Figured I'd start at the far end for once and popped into Circus. Used the can and came back out and let my eyes adjust. A dancer who should've quit years ago (she's been there 18 years) held a seat for me and offered to have some fun. In that I just can't see having fun with someone my mom's age that didn't have MILF appeal, I passed. The whole place looked pretty much like that, save for the strung out blond and a rather cute black girl on stage whose attention I didn't want to stick around long enough for with the swarm of hags coming at me. Drank fast and got out.
There looked to be some sort of fight starting out front of Harem (probably something minor, but didn't want to find out) so I went around the block and figured I'd pop up the next side street to get further down the road. Oddly enough, this is how I discovered that there's a bar I'd never seen before because I never leave Baltimore Ave. Norma Jeans. A bit later, a similar situation led me to discover Diving Horse. Didn't go there as I was on my way back to the parking garage to head out to my event and was near broke anyway. May check back there later.
At any rate, how did I never find Norma Jeans before? I read this board, but somehow just missed it being on the block. Damn happy I popped in there. Probably some of the finest looking women I've seen on the block (all black girls, ranging from spinner to thick and plenty. Pretty much all between 6-9 aka Block 10's) and almost looks like a legit club. It was dead because, well, it was like 4 PM on a weekday. Grabbed a spot at the bar to check things out, handed out a couple tips, and then was approached by the girl I hoped would hit me up. Up walks a sexy young sister with a damn near perfect body. We chatted for a bit at the bar, and eventually the subject of a lap dance came up. We paid the bartender and headed to the semi-private lap area. Not sure what it's like here when the place is packed, but it was quite nice when dead. Had a great session (better than expected and cheaper than expect. Pm me for details) with her and then headed back to the bar. We hung out at the bar while I bought her a drink this time (bartender didn't ask before despite her talking to me for a while). Only $20 still unlike a lot of other block places. She sipped very slowly and we had some fun for a while. It was a little weird being interrupted for the tip parade, but I didn't mind at the time. If I had more time / money, I'd have probably taken her to the back again. Got some digits and next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back.
Seriously, get out to the block if you have the funds. It looks like between the recession, the hurricane, and who knows what else, more fun than ever can be had if you play your cards right. Just make sure to avoid the Circus of Horrors unless I just got a really bad day.
