Reading some posts, I get the impression some guys think these are poor girls who somehow got duped into this kind of work and deserve our deepest sympathy for their woes. This is also not about 'establishing a fixed rate' as you said. It's about paying a fair price for services and not giving in to their greed. If you have an above average provider. Pay her above average compensation. If not, she will go where she can command such compensation. I've been going to Atlanta AMP's for over 5 years. There was a time that they were the best in the US, second only to San Francisco. They've never been cheap, and rarely where they something you didn't get your money's worth (unlike a LOT of other places). The SERVICE and the SERVICES are what drive what I pay. One could just as easily presume that the ones who pay more, actually give the rest of you the room to negotiate. If EVERYBODY haggled and walked out, they might push back.
