Avoided being robbed (or worse!)
My "spideysense" tells me that you just avoided a bad encounter that could had led to you been robbed or worse. Delete that ***** from your numbers and move on is my suggestion.

I've been seeing this girl who works on the block. Seen here there quite a few times, and we eventually exchanged numbers. After that point, her "emergency" texts started coming. She was having issues and needed money. I really liked this girl, so I helped her our. Everything seemed to be going fine, then I get a text from her ex (and father of her kids) that I better leave her alone. No big deal, I actually agree with him, and I text her and tell her its over.
A month goes by and she texts me, says she not with him any longer. She asks if I can come see her, she needs help again. Worried that this might be a trick, I ask her to answer some questions only she could answer, and she got them right. So, feeling assured, I agree to meet her.
I go down to her area and she says she'll meet me outside a restaurant. So I get there, and wait. She's not here. I text her, and she finally gets back to me right when she should be there. Says she's babysitting, and will come by in 15 minutes. Being a bit paranoid, I move my car to a parking lot across the street. She then texts me and says a few more minutes, she's cleaning.
I'm starting to get a little annoyed, but then something happens that just boggles my mind. I see her. Walking down the street with a guy in a t-shirt, who was holding a phone. They pass the restaurant and other spot I was waiting, but didn't see me. They then go down an alley. I text her and tell her that I just saw her. She denies it. I know it was her. I know her body. Her legs, her ass, her hair. I could spot her from a 100 yards, easily.
So, now I'm thinking something fishy is going on. I text her that I'm leaving. She says I can come to her house, and texts me the address, but says I have to come down the alley. NO THANKS. I leave. I start getting texts from her saying things that, to be honest, didn't sound like things she would say. My intuition starts kicking in, and I just feel that something's not right.
So, was I paranoid, or did I avoid something possibly worse.
You were lucky- live to monger another day
Like others have said, you were going to get ripped off, or worse. Delete that number and never answer it again.
I agree! I had the same thing happen to me with an all time favorite.Jewels (deceased now). I just happened to pull up around the corner across the street from where she was calling with some dude. She did not see me. So I played the I was in route to her routine. Watching their responses. I had fun with them. I then dropped that connection. You definitely avoided a setup. These girls will turn and burn, if they get into a bad situation. MDC
