The Area is Still Questionable
Her crazy is generally confined to text and phone. She's fine in person, although she's way to aggressive with asking you to come see her unsolicited. So make sure you only contact her on a burner you don't need.
The area isn't ghetto at all LOL. There's a day care center across the street, a post office around the corner, and a police department a few blocks down. The block itself is tree lined and quiet. It's a prototypical middle class black Chicago neighborhood. It's no more dangerous or "ghetto" than Humboldt Park.
A buddy of mine lives on the other side of Quincy, directly across from that Senior Center. His grandparents owned a house there for decades before they passed away. His grandfather always told him to avoid the gas station right there on Jackson and Laramie. He says a lot of people have lost their lives at that station. That liquor store just north of Quincy is also bad news. Not saying it would deter me from going to visit her, just make sure to be aware of your surroundings.
Great Common Sense Etiquette.
Most girls have very little patience for time wasters and guys who flake out and cancel. Just practice basic communication etiquette, don't cross boundaries, be there when you say you'll be there and you should be alright. I'm not saying I'm on her side but most girls will block and blacklist you for playing with their phone or not showing up.
I'll also add.
If you have to cancel a scheduled appointment let her know immediately. She can schedule another guy in your time slot.
