Come on now, try to be fair.
Those police were called there, it's not like they were looking for trouble. And they were trying to make an arrest, and it had nothing to do with his offenses or blotter after the fact. His resisting arrest is what had to do with his offenses, and why the situation unfortunately turned deadly. I'm not going to sit here and say all the right decisions were made, but I'm also not going to sit here and say that I would have made all the right decisions in the heat of the moment either. The fact is Mr. Brooks created a life-threatening situation by wrestling with armed police officers, striking them, and taking their weapons and using them against them. The taser could have disabled those officers and then who knows what? Certainly there have been many officers killed in the line of duty where struggles just like this started. It's easy in hindsight to look at the video and say what could have been done, but in the heat of the moment with adrenaline going and your life on the line, you're not always thinking your clearest, and instincts do take over. It's unfortunate what happened but that situation was clearly created and escalated by Mr. Brooks, and for you to turn that around and make it the officers' responsibilty is just wrong. Walk a mile if you dare....
Since when is a used taser a lethal weapon? Breaking news: Fleeing suspect kills 2 police officers with 1 used taser while running away and firing backwards all while being inebriated. Give me a break! Protect and Serve? And they fired weapons and rounds and actually struck a car of a motorist. Now if he had their firearm? Definitely lawful shooting. If he was such a danger, call for backup immediately, surround him immediately, not have a 30 minute conversation. Really? In the majority of cases, Cops are not suppose to be the judge and jury or are they? Yes! I AM biased and apparently, and so are some are you. Biases come from life experiences, so everyone has them. My bias comes from being pulled over several times a year for driving an expensive car and that's my suspected crime.
Shit stain? LOL. Again, if he was a "shit stain", arrest immediately. Don't give me his offenses or blotter after the fact for a justification.
Uh, who doesn't know what they're talking about?
The cops were fired because tasers are non lethal and the fact that his partner was at scene removed the ability of Brooks to take the officers weapon. Police carry tasers so that their only option isn't a lethal weapon. You guys don't know what the hell your talking about. You cannot shoot someone in the back, cop or not. Unfortunately, far to many Americans welcome oppression, and some like it if it's targeted towards people they disagree with.
Think you better check your facts:

A taser is considered a deadly weapon under GA law, even according to the DA Paul Howard who charged the officers. You need to stop talking like you're some authority when you're so ill-informed. You want to put your money where your mouth is those cops aren't convicted?
So much misinformation it hurts
"Microbes" - in this case a corona virus - don't float about in the air. They are transmitted in and on water droplets. The very saliva and mucous that you acknowledge are stopped by masks. Your statement LITERALLY illustrates why mask wearing works.
The current strain of covid-19 has an IFR rate more than twice that of the flu. And unlike flu season it hasn't finished yet. Also, the "R" rate which measures the reproduction rate shows that covid is 3 x more infectious. This data is easily verifiable at actual medical and science sources.
As far as being under 80 and dying. We all are, but it's a function of risk mitigation. With 300+k dead in the US including some on this forum. People who fuck around are finding out the hard way.
Dudes rawdogging hookers but worried about people wearing a mask that doesn't filter out viral microbes. Does nothing. Infected person coughing, spitting in your face, mask will stop most saliva and mucous, but not microbes. All for a disease that has an IFR of the flu. If you're under 80 and die from China virus, your immune system was compromised by HIV, diabetes, cancer, etc. Your death was only pulled forward. You were dying anyway
A reported 50% of healthcare workers are refusing China virus vaccination. Do your own research. Especially re Moderna mRNA vaccination.
Complicated Like Everything Else in Life
Damn that's just sad a pathetic. Not calling you that but it seems the repercussions of having half your shit taken and barely being allowed to see your kids especially if she is vindictive if you have kids got men throwing your manhood away. That's just sad and just reinforces the need to properly vet women before committing. My new motto is fuck around and date and when you meet someone that is cooperative and no drama and brings something positive to your life and continues to do so even while you both are fucking other people and honest about it. Then after she's proven herself for a year then you can make her your girlfriend whether you choose monogamous or not up to what you want. Never what the ***** wants. If she don't agree with anything she can hit that door. You got to have the mindset that no matter if you met the butch yesterday or you been with her for 30 years if she chooses to leave in whatever fashion you don't even pause. Shit sounds easier than it is but if y'all stop putting a *** on a pedestal and willing to walk out on anything your not truly comfortable with then your most likely to find a half decent woman that you can be happy with. But never marriage. Can't trust a *** farther than you can see her. And with how manipulative and sneaky they are, they got no problems doing shit right in your face with the advent of technology. But donr give up bro. It's simple. Tell her your thinking of divorce. Depends on if you want to take the risk of her calling your bluff. Tell her your not attracted to her weight and that's not who you married and she need to change or be ready to gtfo. I'm sure you won't do this seeing as your going to great lengths fucking with your biology. But is it really healthy? Are you really happy? If you are then that is completely your decision to make and fuck anyone who judges it. Just hope you aint lying to yourself. Also if your not willing to put your foot down about something as simple as her weight which is easily fixable then how can you expect her to respect you with anything else. Your doing all this to avoid divorce and I'm sure you can read many stories where shit still ended in divorce. She apparently wants dick. She eventually going to get it from somewhere. Maybe from someone she respects while losing respect from you. See how easy this can lead to divorce. Just food for thought. Best wishes.
Well, not sure I get all your points but I am 62, retired, and have substantial savings. Divorce is not going to be an option because I'm not giving half of my life's savings and inheritance away to my spouse so I can increase my frequency of getting laid. In 10 years I won't care. My spouse is Latin and 10 years younger. All my clothes are cleaned, meals prepared daily, daughter carpooled, and the inside of my house looks like a Home and Garden photo op. I come and go pretty much as I please and I control all financial matters. So its far from perfect, but better than some. I attempt to be discrete about my activities. Had a few slip ups and confrontations. Divorce is never brought up but I have been told that I might not wake up in the morning if I'm caught. All guns removed from our house years ago. Mostly just a menapausal Latin temper thing but yes, I am respectful toward my wife as it's simply common civility. I'll manage to persevere and thank you for your well wishes. P.S. I did wait until I was 38 to get married. In hindsight that was probably a bit too soon.
