It is unfortunate she chose to reward the wrong client. It happens. I have had it happen to me a couple times over the years. I tend to view it as her way of saying thank you and just go with the flow of the session. I would be less likely to visit them again, but it may not happen next visit or ever again. This is particularly true if she got the feeling you did not like it.
