Problems? Due to: new software, local issues or what?
Not clear what Wallie's point is, but can we agree that posts are way down on Cincy boards? (Does Wallie know where Cincy is?)
If the point is that there are many factors which affect the posting activity, who could argue? I can only speak from my person experience, and it is a fact that the new software, for MANY reasons including the autoedit, makes posting less than satisfactory.
Are there other more significant reasons? Perhaps Wallie will let us know. But I notice his posts (VERY rare in Cincy) , have been rare in the past month or so as well.

Yea we are slow in our post but that a good thing.
You may not fully agree, but the Cincy Forum having a lack of decent informative post is a pretty good thing. If you are not a street person and rely on these post to guide you then this post is more of a nightmare to you. We who know the street know how to find SW's in the hardest of times, and to spot out the diamonds, gems, decents, and regulars of the streets.
We know the off spots to look in, and in lean times where the street SW tend to go to. This we all know over time. Cincy is a very unique place, where the LE has an unusual attraction to busting SW action in Cincy, and giving it Number One Priority, seemingly over more serious crimes. SW action is really down on the list of most serious crime, but it helps increase the Jail numbers & Stats, to get the Fed / State / Local money & taxes to keep the system going.
Remember "YOU" voted in a Sheriff & Prosecutor that is willing to spread millions of dollars to keep SEX out of our lives, streets, and communities. You wanted it now you have it. Not the SEX Bank of Money closed, and people don't see it as important anymore. Notice the Sheriff leaves ole Larry Flynt alone now since he has enough money to put Uncle Simon / CPD on there BUTT's money wise. Plus his has a load of Secret Goods on there Cops, he is willing to unload, in his magazine at any point.
Anyway back to point. Often, LE lets us do there dirty work for them. Not that they don't know, but using this forum helps to target there efforts. It is the something people reading the post do for themselves which is the purpose of the whole site.
I can remember a time when you could be extremely detailed, and direct member to right where they need to be, then LE got wise, and used the info, to pick up and harass the regulars. The regular could not understand how the LE got so much info on their movement, until someone explain the USASG to them and some got pissed, some got in trouble with there Probation Officers, and some got picked up too often. Yea, LE already knows the deal, but we were adding the missing piece they might need.
After my detailed post got a few of my regulars in trouble, and a few got asked about members on this board using the members on screen names, I decided to make a change, and many of the Senior, have made the same change. We are not like LAX where SW action is only big on the main strips but the rest of the city, it is small potatoes. Here it is a big deal everywhere.
If you need info on Cincy, new info is harder to come by, and I would advice anyone looking for action to go someplace else. If you are not a resident or lack a resident guide, then don't even try.
We are a Slow, Laid Back, Out-of-Tune, rather Backwards city, Extremely Conservative, Overly Naive, Kinda Police State city, and lives a little more in the past than in it's future.
Like many small Ohio & Midwest cities we intentionally stay out-of-touch with the rest of the World because we believe we can always quickly catch up, which NEVER Happens.
Still, I live here rather than any place else, because I was and my whole family was from here. So I have learned to cope, and do well enough in this kind of city, that is also almost driven the SW business completely underground, in its own way.

This user posts ads for various providers. The search capability of the new forum sucks. I guess I can forgive some of the newbies foibles with regard to finding information since I can't seem to get a good search result in between the 60 second rule.
