I guess this is the right site for this. I went down Karen street, by Sherwood, and saw a gorgeous doll about 20 yrs or so. First I want to thank all who have contributed this forum. I have benefitted considerably from your comments and suggestions.
When the Western was running and before the Gold Spike was renovated one could find in these places a fairly reliable stock of low-cost p4p girls, girls who were looking for a quick one either for some money or just for a good time and even some who would do whatever one might have wanted done in order to have a meal, a shower and a night's sleep in a clean, quiet place. These girls, and the mentality that surrounded them, had to go somewhere else to hang around. I used to like hanging for a while in the Western and the former Spike (and the ElCo now and again) as there were no pretenses, no Strip-weary tourists and the gambling was as cheap and nasty as the women. Also wondering, if they did re-congregate somewhere, if the atmosphere there is similar to what used to be in this distinct segment of the Downtown of the recent past.
