Threatened police involvement and wanted me to pay half of a counselor fee for his daughter. She portrayed herself as an 18 year old on the site and then a 17 year old on the text. Without your post I would have been a lot more concerned, so again thank you. And yes he sounded very convincing.

They said the "father" wanted to talk to me. He sounded very convincing also. He said he wanted me to pay for a portion of her counseling. I got scared and paid 100. After seeing these posts, which is very helpful, I have come to the conclusion that this is all a scam. DO NOT fall for it!

I recently had a girl I was texting with tell me she was only 17, and ask it that was OK. You need to be aware that this could be a LE trap. If it's not, it's highly likely to be the beginning of a scam like this. No matter how tempting it is, when this happens the big head has to take over from the little head. I sent her very strongly worded message that this was not OK with me, that what she was doing was asking someone to break the law and it was dangerous for her, and to stop it. Then I reported her to SA.

With proper operational security, you should have no fear of a two-bit scammer like this tacking you down. You should be more worried about LE. It is very politically popular right now for them to go after people exploiting underage girls. If they set their sights on you they can roll out tools that the average scammer doesn't have and crack your security measures. Eighteen is young enough. At the suggestion anyone is under that age, you need to go into full damage control mode to protect yourself.

Those were most of the key points of the profile. If you're following this chain of posts you see it's up to 4 of us so far who have been caught up in this to varying degrees. Upon receiving a phone call from her "father" here are some of the comments he made: "Being a guy I understand how this stuff can get out of hand. The detective I talked to said it was ok to contact you and try to work something out man to man without pressing charges, but he said not to give you my address or meet in person. " "My wife wants to press charges, she is furious. " "We are going to put her in counseling, possibly state paid for but more likely private. " "My wife wants you to pay the entire cost but I'm reasonable, my daughter contributed to this with her behavior so I think I could convince my wife that you should only pay half. " "Obviously we took away her phone and laptop. ".

Several times he said hold on while I talk to my wife. One time conveniently not covering the phone so I could hear him say something about being fair.

Key points. She sent 3 pics of her pussy, then asked for a dick pic. They know the laws fairly well on the face of things, responding quickly to age of consent comment with pornography of a minor.

I have no doubt at this point that it is a total scam. 2 minutes after I didn't answer their first call I got a call from an unknown number (the "detective" Which when I tried calling back went to an automated response stating the number wasn't a valid exchange. There has been no further contact after I told them I wasn't paying for counseling for her. I highly doubt there was ever a girl, and if there was that she was under 18.

Hope this helps someone identify this con in future postings, as I have little doubt they will try again. As of now her profile is still deactivated but not deleted.

Still say SA is the best option out there at this point. But will definitely be changing some search parameter for the future.
